I think the problem is that older folk have trouble understanding how the times have moved on, In there day people went to school studied and then worked to support the family, things are mor liberal these days and with the advancements of technology, the older generation find it hard to accept the changes in cultures. I think this is more so in Singapore than anywhere else...
This Site is hosted in the USA so theres not a lot anyone can do about it
Also its a shame that the press dont have any other news to report. The straits times is like reading something a 10 year old has produced, the writing style is poor, boring to read and less factual than should be for a newspaper, the reports are clouded by the reporters personal feelings. But then thats what you get for having a monopoly and no competition .... They should realise that the sg.... sites give people a chance to grow as people and not bow out and follow the goverments words.
Anyhow thats my rant this site is great and gives the chance for people to express themselves and the press should F*** Off
