ok let me rephrase for others benefit .... lets say you like a guy very much in sgforums always chitchat with him and both of you decided to meet up at SGFORUMS BBQ this sat. And you went and found out that the guy physically turned out to be anything but the charming guy he seemed to portray.
will you still want to go out with him in future?

I asked this question because I seriously wanted to know and I'm sure some forumers of both sexes also want to know also.
Actually I think is easy to hide behind a monitor but meeting up some ppl can suddenly get very cold feet, myself included. After all it was the anonimity that brought us all to forums, at least for my case initially it was so.
Oh btw I'm also quite kong bak pau type ... kekekeke -

In our minds an image forms when we PM here and there, or post messages. Generally, the image is a good one, and more often then not, only when we meet do we realise that the person could be very very different from the image in our minds.
That has led to many disappointing meetings, when the guy/girl, sees that the person is not yandao/pretty, and decides to just walk off before even acknowledging her. Or acknowledge her, and bio her chio friend instead
That's why my advice to people who wants to meet up:-
1) Don't expect too much, keep your hopes low, so that when it dashes, it doesn't cause that much pain. (For those who go for looks)
2) Don't bring a chio friend along
3) Try to have a plan before meeting up, so even if you two get tongue-tied, you just have to proceed with the plan.
4) If you decide to chicken out at the last minute, send her a sms saying you can't make it, instead of just leaving her there.

That aside, I think it's the overall feeling that girls get? And i thought people usually exchange pics before meeting up? And it's really difficult to truly like someone even before you know them in person (for me) so don't invest and feelings of romance before meeting up. Coz u also donno if the guy will like you or not... -
