i ever bought a 40 pointer lazare for $4k, the girl broke my heart and took my ring.maybe it wasn't big enough.
$4k was quite sometime back, if today's prices, I think for the same lazare, will cost $5 to $6 k.

30K can rule out local shops, most likely Tiffany & Co or Larry's. -
Things would've been a lot different for people who can afford to splurge on their proposal ring.
Some guys dream to marry Gong Zu but they don't realise their dream is actually to marry Nv Yong.
Cos Nv Yong is more value for their money, cheap ring, cheap wedding, cheap accomodation, cheap ti lam, free labour, free sex, free care and concern, free to abuse.
Don't you guys find it easier to blame and abuse Nv Yong than Gong Zu? Maybe it's makes guys more dignified to marry someone whom they think is lower than them?
One thing for sure, it's definitely the easier way out for them...so much for all the kns "true love" talk.

It is the thoughts that count...and yea, wedding and marriage are not just about proposal ring. There is a long list of things that need to be purchased so at the end of the day, it is better to save on the ring and use it to buy other more necessary stuff.
And who says that 1 to 2k ring is not worth it? It is a token of sincerity...

P-ring no need to be 30k....3k i already find it too meaningless liao...
big diamond rings doesn't means it'll look nice on the finger...not proportional...
and big diamond doesn't prove sincerity or love...only to either prove that he's damn rich or act rich...

If u got 5~6k, use 2k to buy P-ring then the rest of 3k~4k go buy 2x 42" LCD teebee....or u can buy 1x washing machine, 1x refrigerator, 2x 32" LCD...

big diamond ring, to me, would look proportional to fat fingers...but not slender,slim &sexy finger.....
0.3~0.5 would be the ideal size for slender finger...
0.7 n above, i think it's nicer to show the cash in my wallet....
