There is a common room in BLK 60* Ang Mo Kio Ave5 for rent.
2 Female students are preferred.
No owner. There is another girl(i.e. me, studying in NUS) living in the other room. So I will share the kitchen and the lving room with you. But most of the time I will be in my owner room.
Kitchen: has a fridge, a washing machine and a set of dining table and chairs. can light cook (government gas, so no need to change gas every time).
Living Room: a sofa and a tv (but i seldom use it cos i have my own)
Toilet: water heater and toilet bowl.
Common room: No air-con, but good ventilation, windy. There is a study table, a bed frame and a matress. (that means you need to get another matress if two are going to share the room)
You may want to share telephone with me, if you don't want, it's ok, then i will put into my room and you won't be required to share the phone bill. You may need to apply for your own internet connection if you want to have network.
The whole flat needs to be kept clean and neat, so we all have to do cleaning duty yar... : )
No agent fee...
Rental for 2 female students: each SDG 220 / month + shared utilities fees
Rental for single female: SDG 400 / month + shared utilities fees
You can move in any time.
Agent is not welcome!!!

fwah.......so ma huan ahz???? I rather rent a condo with my frens....Originally posted by mistyblue:no agent but agent is only 1 time fee. Its sup sup soy.
long term paying 400 + utilities is not small amount.
Plus, your friend is = landlord and being another tenant does not guarantee a "good" house mate. There's no guarantee of clean facilities and sharing of facilities is not always easy. In addition, there is no clear cut division of the utilities in that the master bedroom has aircon which is taken up by your fren but the common room has no aircon. Then it cannot be a 50/50 division. Same for the rest of the work of maintenaning the household unless the fren want to employ a temp maid. On top of the house rules and whether the original tenant is Zhi Dong or not or is a party animal who brings lots of "frends" over and have lots of strange activities...
Not trying to put on a damper... beyond price... there are lots of consideration.
my colleague sub-tenant from someone else and that tenant turned out to be quite nasty and even logged police report about having things stolen. Well, I would say my colleague is also quite b!tchy and they fight it out lah...Originally posted by dcx:fwah.......so ma huan ahz???? I rather rent a condo with my frens....

I rent whole unit also loh.... mine is 4 room. Therefore 1 extra room I can rent out. The person above, don't know if its legal to rent that room or not. Any flat must keep one room as a "sign" that the owner did not rent out whole place... cause if the tenant sublet and it breaks this rule, the last tenant is most likely to be booted. Besides, at that price for a room is still to ex and if its a 3 room flat, then it might suggest the main tenant is trying to offset a lot of the cost off to the sublet people...Originally posted by dcx:woohoo...ur fren not potato sia...haha.....haiz..too ma huan liaoz...
I still prefer renting the whole unit...

For me, staying on my own ... is quietness and bliss... less troubles more peace...
