Hello fellow drivers (regardless normal taxis, Limousine taxis, pte limousines), please share with us your greatest moment behind the wheels.
As for me, I was involved with the IMF (International Monetary Fund) meeting in Singapore back in 2006 driving CDG mercedes taxi.

Meet a lot of Limo si kina.......
And important thing is, money was damn good........
And that's the only months in my whole taxi driving life, actually gross more than $7K.......

yeah YOG was good for some advance party drivers. somegot 15,000 for that event.

Main games like Olympics will unlikely b stage in Singapore as the country doesn't have sufficient facilities for those sportmen & women.
Hence Youth game is the next best thing.

I think also the IMF one was my favourite. I have driven VIPS before but this 1 I was assigned to some young Argentine banker and his group, but mainly him, Start also a bit late, finish quite early but can claim till late. The final day he say, hey CQ got free drinks, you drop me and the girls there and then join us.
Drop them, after 1 or 2 drinks, they wanted to leave, so send them back hotel, call my friend and we went back and party. He gave tips, the organiser an American also was very happy, also gave tips and the hotel limo liked my style, said he'll call me if he got vacancy. I went back to valet and 2 months later got the hotel limo job.

Actually I think major events drive VIP damn sian one, no freedom. The best is drive their personal assistant (or the 1 holding the cash).
Other than that drive kuching kurap also good, the smaller kuching kurap whose vehicle cannot enter/park everywhere. Like that you can drop them anywhere nearby and when pick up, they'll also will tell you where but not expect you there in a flash because of the traffic or their status

But driving into the Istana with a guard saluting, present arms, etc and driving out with the whole Orchard Road stopping with police outriders, that's a once in a lifetime experience (anyway for me - just once enough)

During IMF,
I had met some volunteered driver.....
starts as early as 7am (standby)... and closed as late at 12midnite....
knn... only paid a token and a Certificate of Appreciation.
