I like forbidden city.. When I went china, I tot to myself, how the fxxk did they build all those Great Wall and palace without today's technology??? They have my admiration...
forbiddencity was built by Ming yongle emperor... He restored the Great Wall too... Really engineering feat at that time...

Ming Dynasty don't use their base in Beijing.......
When Qing rule, your YongLe move the base to Beijing........and start building his dream palace.......
Actually all the structure in Forbidden City not high tech lor, the amazing part is how they deliver all those raw materials those time lor.......
why those area still not open for public? because historian still trying to salvage them, those area open up 1, took them many years to restore also.......
tia gong PuYi left Forbidden that year, the place was almost like a junk castle.......
