How many $18 bookings on average per day?

  My friend said that he gets at least 5 bookings on average per day with his merc cab.......is he trying to talk big?

  Don't expect too much from getting these ADVANCE LIMOUSINE CALLs....

  I had driven limousine cabs for almost 8 yrs previously..... It is like...

  

  Maybe once a year....

  Soon.... the OLD MAXIs will be replaced by the $160++ rental Mercedes Viano.... later this year... good luck to u.

  Many "new birds" give up driving Maxi on "Low Periods" as only those "lau jio" with good "connections" with hotels, service apartments will survive.

  

  As sweeping the floor & waiting at Taxi stands look very unlikely for Maxi cabs... waiting at the Maxi counter at the AP may seem to be the only way out... but the wait seems LONG.

  W/o APs transfers, many will give up after trying out for months.  

  And also....

  Rents for Maxi cabs will surge when the older fleet of Maxi cabs ROD (Run Out of Day) later this year.

  CDG also got segregate their drivers into different categories, those platinum, gold, silver...

  maybe you platinum driver to them, the submarine more $18 plus meter to you...

  how to be platinum driver of CDG, dun ask me... I dunno...

  As for Maxicab, chinhotan mah.. That time ST put can earn bila bila $6k per month..

  in SG, work what and where also the same, must have the 3 Qs, IQ, EQ, AQ.. What is AQ? Angkat quotient lah! Must know how to Sar kah the Durian Head so they will submarine jobs to you. 

  For example got 10 durian heads, u Sar kah them, dun say all lah. Just say 5 of them give u 1 job per day means u have 5 job per day Liao... U understand???

  I think so. 1 thing about a lot of taxi drivers is they like to talk big about their so called exploits. You can even see it in the taxi drivers forum here,

  Sometimes they even pass off others exploits as their own.

  I sincerely doubt your friend's story.
