Confusing Maxi cabs

Prime maxis can start fare at S$4.00 and jump $0.33
CDG maxis can only start at S$3.90 and jump $0.22
Both are white color
recently a lot of pax , some tourist , stand outside read the fare chart before boarding the taxi , probably afraid of getting chopped

IMHO. Both taxis are very different though they seem the ssame.
the alphard are completely new and can command a better pricing.
whereas CDG has batches of Maxicab that are very old Liao. In a sense, they can't quite push for 2 different prices as it will be confusing.
also, prime and CDG are 2 different coy, in the first place, the LTA free up this taxi industry so that more players can come in, offer more competitive prices so that CDG is not he monopoly.

Vellfires taxis.... 6 paxs.... (limited boot space).
CDG Maxi cabs .... 7 paxs (with small luggages / hand carry).

The main reason of Prime coming out Vellfires taxi, is to replace the ageing Toyota Estima...

They (the drivers) did considered spraying black for the Vellfires......
but... if pax can choose to avoid all the BLACK taxis (plus probably Vellfires taxis)...
then... their income will be affected as a whole......
so, they have decided to spray it WHITE.........

And somemore wht other company can charge extra if more than 4 heads but cdg maxi LAN LAN cannot and must take if u q at normal at ap Damn phuiiii rite

Until now, new Maxi cab still full force on the road........
But some changing hirer like changing underwear.........
Limousine trade is always that something will attract drivers to have a try........so drivers come and go.........
And of course quality of limousine drivers will definitely xxxxxxx, fill in the blank yourself.......hahaha

the good times have gone ......
driving limousine and / or Maxi cabs dun have "that ADVANTAGE" anymore.....
as long as the authority is throw more taxis licences into the industry....
who will want to pay more for the same distance of travel ??

New Maxi cab only cost $155 daily rental....
even cheaper than the $159 mercedes cabs....
For Maxi cab... 1 pax can try.... 7 pax also can take....

Heard 1 maxi cab.....had a very bad accident along PIE eunos 2 week ago.... the whole PIE stretch was closed off due to the accident.

Maxi cab like you need a lot of effort and time.........not all suitable to drive........

Vellfire is a new toys, nobody will know it's potential yet........but as long limousine groups willing to accept them (Tia kong Rainxxx got 5, sobolang got 1), still not that bad la, comparing to Estima, totally no, no for all limousine groups..........

Hybrid's mileage is so much better than diesel.
Though it pump on petrol... the car auto-switch to electric once car is on the highway. 20km/litre.(est).
I will find out more on this from my Vellfire's kakis... maybe also the accident's vehicle number(s).... hopefully he is NOT the one...

Fuel cost? Everyday hourly where got mileage.......
Full tank with Shell 95 after discount from Shell Card about $110.........
Distance wise......some say 20km/L, some say only 12-13km/L.......ultimately still depend on your driving habit loh.......
If u keep on 4wd, of course jiak you loh........
