Hi limo brothers and sisters, I feel it's an added advantage for a LD if you can speak some foreign languages,
What do you think? (made famous by DPM Teo)
How many foreign languages do you speak? What are they?
'speak'? issit just good morning?
as far as i know, nus jap major JLPT level 2 also can hardly hold a real conversation
I speak a universal language...
Body language...

haha well said bro~~~~
Previously when CDG sponsored-Tour Guide courses,
Basic japanese languages were taught.
Now.... you go ask 1,000 cabbies.... I dun think they won't be bother to go and learn additional languages at their own expenses.
It is good to know, but not essential as the common language is English.
One language if possible, please do learn a bit for limo driver......
Bahasa.....very useful if queueing AP limo.......
Most rich ebu, start their Singapore "journey" at AP.....
Know some basic greeting and Q&A will add to your advantages.....

Many passengers like REGULAR drivers that don't speak or understand their languages.
So, they #%^&&^%$, you also won't know what they are saying....
they, will speak English to you.... if they don't want the driver to listen.... they will %^$&## in their own languages.
My Conclusion.
It is an advantage to know and communicate with One-Off passengers. You may get tips from the trip. Especially Japanese passengers, if you can communicate with them, they will likely tip you well..... If you dun...,just have some Japanese songs in the car, it will surely impressed them as well.
If you asked me to go learn.... I will rather sleep or post reply in SgForums.
