Hi Limo brothers and sisters,
I intended to start a website for limousine services after browsing some of the limousine services websites.
Some of the terms used like "Arrival", "Departure", "Hourly" are easy to understand.
What are the other terms that are often used and what to they mean?

Thru the years....
there are many (NEW) limousine websites... and getting to the top page (of any search engines) is the priority.
but getting there..... $$$ need to be spend as an investment that may or may not be able to recoup.
Hence, a proper market survey is needed and the vehicles backing you. ie, as reserve to your business vehicle(s).
Since you have been doing online businesses, the IT prospective had already cleared. If you are really serious about it....

** As I did mentioned in an earlier post.... I sincerely doubt there is any forummer(s) coming forward and share with you their trade secret in making their websites successful.

Arrival ( Meet & Greet services ).
Proper Limousine procedure -
Park your business vehicle in the CP and proceed into the arrival hall with your "White Sign"....
Meet & Greet passengers - normal waiting time is 1 hour from the time the plane lands. If passenger NO SHOW - check the Belt of that particular flight if there are any luggages left on it or on the floor.... (If there are.... you have to continue to wait). Some pax loves to Shop Shop, See See Look Look.... bo pien...
Once you received the guest(s), bring them to the Private Pickup Point before you retrieve your vehicle and proceed to the pickup point (preferred not to bring the pax to the CP).
If Guest no show....(If the job belongs to somebody else), before you left the CP, print a receipt at the exit point and keep it for further reference by the Original source (which may be from the Hotel).
Normally, no show by pax, you can do a claim it but if it is an online assignement, unless they paid you in advance by Pay-Pal, it is very difficult to chase for the job money.

Ok la.....limousine drivers got many type.....see which type you are loh....
Some chao ah beng type.....no websites for limousine services, but got websites for football betting...
Some part time limousine driver, full time ah long san....
Some tech savvy......si mi tools also have, ever see limousine drivers...wireman?...
Some really serious in business type.......everyday long sleeve, tie.....waiting for ��.....
Some use limousine taxi to sweep floor.......knn, right???..
If want to write.......very very long.......Websites? Porno 1 still can......Singapore not so popular demand than some Europe countries.....

Website? You driving limousine now?? U wanna try go google type in limousine or Maxicab? You want to have a feel of your competition first?? Don't waste money, like JDIL mention, I have a website, can meet for coffee then brainstorm how we can make it better lah...u no need come out with $$$ mah... If you can make our limousine like CDG hotline... I salute you lah... I have a DREAM... That is to make our telephone so prominent that when people want limousine, they call our number. Want taxi call CDG... Still got very long way to go.. U see, our Singaporeans don't have a limousine culture.. They rather take taxis. And just imagine, if a TD take a longer route, they kpkb Liao. U think they pay u $60-70 for one limo transfer?? Even for Maxicab, u tell them $50, they want to consider, some more stay CCK and Jurong West, I feel like telling them... I also want to consider for that 50pts, I lugi, pax earn leh...

No, not yet. Currently driving an Epica but helping my BIW to send expat from point to point/airport.

Using communication breakdown in Singapore is such a LAME EXCUSE.
Only morons will think of using it as an excuse. Study too much ? screw loose ?

Some Limo term, let's share, I list a few.......
Current Merc-----$10 plus meter
Advance Presido------$18 plus meter
Road Show------Lunch or Meeting disposal, usually sent pax, wait, than sent back, minimum 2 hours charges.
Request for F1 driver-------either pax forget something like passport or urgent document to sent, or late for meeting, or late for flight, if not fast driver, don't take...
AA job----- $8 plus meter, cheapo pax or e-voucher.

Sovereign is Comfort, and Presido is CityCab........
Solid white drivers, mostly came from CityCab......
