G'day Mods & fellow thread forumers Thanks so much for the great mods and veri delicated members fm tis forum thread which gave me lots and lots of insight into the Limo Drivers world......... I wl start my TDVL course soon at Woodlands, me hv sleepless nites fill with anxiety, anticipating and worrying at the same time of my career choice at this mid life juncture. Hope to get as much help and guidiance as possible b'coz I wish to be a Lady LimoCab professional soonest! Cheerioz!!!

Hi Ms TS aka NiceLimO,
Well, it is never end of the road after your last profession. If you have read the previous older threads, especially our occupations before turning TDs or Pte Limo drivers.
My advice to you will be the same as to bro MM069. Getting road exposure is essential as a newbie to the industry. Only after some experiences, than you can consider turning into limousine taxi.
I have been in the TD industry for almost 9 yrs before switching into Private Limousine. 7 yrs of my TD trade had been in the Limousine cab industry. Do your farming right and harvest it at a right time may have another career change....
but still within the service industry.There isn't many forummers whom love to share..... hence you won't have much opinions given besides the regulars in this new limo sub-forum founded in Feb 2012.
Just keep your post coming as we value every contributions from forummers.

Tks JDIL! Suddenly all the fears subside… B4 this 1st post to yr forum, I had no one to tok to or even discuss the matter. The moment I tok abt the subject in rl, ppl around me juz brush my idea away or say ‘u serious ahr char bor?’ ....... ‘yew mei yew kow chor ahr?!?’..... then their eyes comically open big, big and give me an once over from head to toe…….lol Within mins tt i give myself a chance to signup and login to yr forum, I feel tt I m no longer alone … I hope NOT to be a blur and boring member of yr forum….……tks again for having me..… Xie Xie!

somebody with forums experience... and willing to share experiences in the industry.

At the end of the day....
Bro Sam.seah and me are trying to provide a common forum page to all Limousine drivers in SG, and/or JB or even Batam.....
As I did mentioned before....
We aren't Supermen (becos we dun wear underwear inside out
).... we are just here to provide "some answers" to your enquiries (if any).... we are here to assist anyone who want some opinions in the limousine trade. Of course, there are some threads we basically TCSS and joke around.
Hopefully you will find our contributions to any thread(s) helpful.

TD forum (next door) is helpful subforum for newbies...
You can hang around there to learn the TD trade from Bros POOLMAN, BCL (TD forum's principal)...
and Khoon2580 whom are "MOST" sincere in their post contributions.

Limo forums are basically a....
HIGHER PLAY GROUND.
Every newbie in the industry are adviced to start from the beginning... which is from a normal TD.
Once you adsorb some experiences, ie, take a next step into limousine cabs.
You have the choice of forums...
nobody can or restrict you to any forums.
Just my word of advice that TD forum could benefit you more ... in terms of the common topic they (TDs) face everyday in their On The Road (OTR) experience.

Limo forums is a friendly forum.... to friendly forummers....
We can chat about anything within or even not related to the limousine industry.
We have many formmers whom is normal cabbies contributing posts too....
Bros like ahRichard, MM069, Alws Tired (now CBL
), BCL are driving normal cabs.They are WELCOME to post here and TCSS with us too....
There is no restriction.
