STOMPer Guynextdoor was impressed with the honesty displayed by a cabby who went out of his way to return his friend's lost iPhone.
Said the STOMPer:
"Kudos to taxi driver Mr. Lee and his passenger in returning the iPhone of my friend.
"Indeed most of the taxi drivers in Singapore have been very helpful and kind.

Returned 10 mobiles also no use... Once complained by pax.... Company sure shoot you warning letter. Knn. 10 letters of complement also cannot erased a letter of complaint. Haha.

Got once, company call me saying my previous pax drop a camera in my taxi.
And very insisting, but me search whole car also can't find the stupid camera.
Than company give her my number and she call me, tolong, tolong, tolong me, saying the camera very important to her.
But don't have mean don't have, than how.....than she even offer me $200 for me to return her the camera....
Even after few days still calling me to check....knn, me thinking, is it her naked pictures inside the camera...

Taxi company should provide drop off box for lost items @ places where it is convenient for drivers. Most of the time, company will call the drivers to drop the lost items at their company premises.. Where got time if ur plying the road. If i find lost item, most probably i'll dump it asap.

Can consider if pax is a guai lan type pax. But for females pax with sweet voice, i'll rather ask them to collect item @ my hse. -

A true life case.....
This pax in a rush, left his laptop in this taxi. With the receipt, manage to trace the cabby in less than 15mins time.
Knn, TD say never see anything in his taxi.
Pax tulang, and insist the laptop in his taxi.
Than, this TD also stupid idiot, happily bring home the laptop....upon reaching carpark, enforcement officers from the said company waiting for him liao, demand to search his vehicle without fail....
Of course, 人赃并获....become police case....

Than got another time, this guy drop his card holder in my taxi...also urgent, I just drop him at Tuas....knn, ask him to go Sin Ming and collect...

sometimes, the phones or other belongings dropped behind driver's seat.... you (driver) won't even know becos you dun turn your head 180 degrees to check all the time.... right ?
