Senior Citizens Porters at Changi Airport

I just read a tread in another forum, that is CAG is being praised for employing senior staff.
Maxicab and 13 seater forummers, how do you feel when these old uncles need to carry those big and heavy bags filled with stones?
What are your thoughts? Pls pen them here!
Till now, I still don't know post pic, any forummers can help to post a pic of the old porters helping with the bags pls???

Hehe... Bro JDIL,
First Class all young porters, vey funny right, when you stop by first class, they got so many porters attack and carry luggage..
The normal door is manned by old ah peks and one only.
I try to carry the luggage and tell to to relax bu they very on... These old men insist to carry the big and heavy luggage...

there are no other options...either you get foreigns or elderlies....no young ppl willing to do the jobs.... we need foreigns for jobs we dun wanna do, but reserve the talent positions for locals and not foreigns....

Terminal 3 1st Class.... UNCLEs many many... just went there this afternoon.

the importance of skills upgrading and continuing education is the crux of survival for this generation and the future... but we will still face the most fundamental problems, who is going to clean the dirty linens? well someone gotta do it...if not you or your future sons/ daughters, u need foreigns to do it as a lowest cost of labour to sustain competitive businesses...soon china prc will go back their wealthier homeland..... the current problem of elderlies who were not fortunate to arm with the knowledge base/ skills.....the system should expedite the mandatory parents maintenance act to ensure they are given the sufficient financial security to survive daily, aside to providing subsidies to low income earners...etc.... as a son of singapore....it pained me more than ever to see old people feebly pushing carts after carts of recycled and waste paper for daily existence....

Even the Taxis Coordinators at respective taxis Q at Changi Airport Terminals...
mainly are Older Citizens handing the allocation of passengers to the taxis.....

Wonder these senior citizens porters are paid hourly rate of 2.60 or 2.70. NTUC paying part time senior citizens these rates.
Indeed the current govt are great, they are "taking good care" of these people.

Govt copied everything from GST to toll charges..... but they never copy this from other countries.....
