If your payment machine is NOT WORKING.... OPEN YOUR MOUTH and tell the passenger that your machine is NOT WORKING everytime a PAX came aboard. Don't wait until end of trip.... kena f upside down if pax is nasty.

TD are supposed to "provide" FREE service (w/o charging), ferry pax to nearest ATM and back to final destination.
I'm a cabby and I'd always believe that when you opened up your shop for business, you have to serve a cause. In this case, your cause is to provide convenience to passengers. If your taxi display signs that credit cards and NETS are accepted and if the system fails, you must provide provisional avenue for the passenger to pay without it being at their cost. Just like you open a shop displaying credit cards logo and someone comes in to buy something from you and uses his card to pay. If your system is down, you should be apologetic. For those cabbies who thinks that it's the company's and passenger's problem, you will soon be phased out. The world is moving on but you are not.

Anything Pax passed you (in cashless payment), make sure you dun ask for Pax to pay cash even though your system is NOT WORKING. Pax complains... you get it.

Cashless mode for TD, I 100% support it, save our frustration of giving out change and ....etc
Why many cabby angry on this system is because of the 10%admin and 7% GST for credit card payment and $0.30 for Nets payment.
We don't benefit for that, is the company, yes, they provide the system but in usual trade, ie retail..etc, it's born by the owner, not the other way round.
Many public been debating on this, even came out STforum pages, look at their reply, very disheartening.

Guy slapped by cabby rejects taxi vouchers as he 'just wants to move on'
STOMPer Francis has rejected the complimentary taxi vouchers offered by Comfort DelGro after he was assaulted by a taxi driver on the night of March 26.
The STOMPer had refused to pay the additional cab fare accumulated from travelling to a nearby ATM as the NETS system in the cab was faulty. However, the taxi driver became aggressive and even slapped the STOMPer.
A representative from Comfort DelGro said in a statement issued on March 27 that the taxi driver's hiring agreement has been terminated.
STOMPer Francis was also offered complimentary taxi vouchers but has since declined to receive them, saying he 'just wants to move on'.
In his response to Comfort DelGro, STOMPer Francis wrote:
"I just want to point out the flaw in your taxi meterings and also the violent behavior of your staff.
"I decline to receive the vouchers and I just want to move on."
