If.... Me not driving Viano....
...the existing current Mercedes vehicles with 1-2 years (6-7 yrs old) should think about this option.... newer ones can hang on lah.
the older ones, euro3 & early euro4 engines give lots of (mechanical) problems.

They said they raise taxi fare so that TD can earn more.
In the end, they raise rental so they themselves can earn more and buy more taxi.

This is always their business strategy.....
Normal cabs 2yrs breakeven.
Mercedes cabs 3-4yrs breakeven.
If I'm the company, I will come out more normal cabs than limousine cabs..

Actually... I was quite comfortable driving.....
until my previous (1st hirer)
to....
... after driving for 6 months... i decided to go back to CDG...... went up to Premier cabs for fun only.... but got a hirer within 2 days... Rental from $42 jump to $63 (up $21 leh)....

Only benefit is... there is only about 500 Mercedes cabs in the market....
(high demand). -
Bro JDIL, you drove silver before? Silverstar's drivers all got air one, all machiam DH type, but 5 plus meter, this kind of jobs...heehee

Look impressive..I drove the last batch of mercedes cab before, for 2 weeks..cause mine overhaul, than happen this lao gui go holiday.
Cannot describe the feeling, almost any pax I took also ask name card from me, really different for new car. Compare to my own, lao kok kok type, even push card, pax will tell you straight to face, don't need!..haha.

Yeah... drove normal crown for 4 months... becos previous 1st hirer stays in the neighbourhood.
I asked him to move back to CDG... but he wanted to stay on with Silvercab... (BCL knew also)..
.That's the begining of my Limousine service career (after rejoined CDG in 2004).

my limousine career begins with CDG Mercedes cab from 2004 to 2010. SMRT from 2010 March to 2010 Oct. Finally 2010 Nov with Trans Dynasty to 2011 Sep... On the 2 Sept, same day returned keys to Transcab... I took my Viano keys.

2 Sept, my ROD date, 1 week before 911..nb, my guys been activated, 3 SIR standby force was deployed. Gombak was full of generals, and knn, I miss all the action.

Heard some rumours frm some unreliable sources that 1 of the taxi coy may bring in ..
if Sime Darby.. owner of PML allowed BMW to be used as Taxi.. anyway its just hearsay,
how true we shall see.. -
