Day 2 lesson covered ERP, CBD, Taxi Meter, Taxi Stop, Taxi Stand, Discharging Bay, Vocational Licence.
Day 3 lesson will include “Rules & Regulations” again and “Names & Locations of Buildings”.

Day 3 lesson covered Conduct and Responsibilities, Names & Locations of Buildings. Was given a 50 questions test paper for Section 1. Quite easy, completed and double checked. All done is less than 15 mins. Names & Locations of Buildings lesson needs to master the street directory. 50 questions in 60 minutes. Looks challenging.

MMO69, I am sure you will pass.
When I took the course recently, I worry until hair turn white, but actually they design the course for you to pass.
For Names and Locations of Buildings, don't short-cut. Go for the Index page first. When you try to second guess where to fing the info or the map page, you loose time.
As for Routes and Landmarks, I also worry until I travelled on my bike around the island to learn, but actually no need. They will give you some illogical route, and you use the process of elimination to get the correct answer.
You will pass.

Thanks. Today 2 tests.
1st test (12 mins) - 10 questions on Names and Locations of Buildings. All 10 correct.
2nd test (60 mins) - 50 questions on Names and Locations of Buildings. 48 correct. 2 wrong comes from the same map, same road.
1) Where is Toa Payoh Community Club located?
2) Where is Toa Payoh Polyclinic & Dental Clinic located?
Both located side by side (Map 89 Grid 1b). One wrong both wrong. I picked Lorong 7 Toa Payoh, answer is Lorong 8 Toa Payoh. Never notice the word "Payoh" was from Lorong 8 Toa Payoh. Damn, but also good. I will remember it probably forever. Haha.
Basically, must master to flip the street directory. Quite rush. Sometime cannot see means cannot see, skip question and come back again.

Paper theory and OTR experience work hand in hand, after 7 years of TD, sometimes still caught in unfamiliar road name.
Yesterday, was caught by this ang mo lady, showing me 29a Teo Hong Road on a name card, knn, all this while just know Bukit Pasoh Road, never know is adjacent to it.
But we learn, and through years of driving, Singapore Street Directory will be at your finger tips.

Well, not surprising for Pte Limo to go for TDVL..... but very rare...
.Normally it is the reversed. Get TDVL exposure 1st... then go into Pte Limo trade...

Yes, He own the Pte Limo company with 3 vehicles and also has some drivers driving for him. One of his Pte Limo friend has 60 vehicles.
Some of the Pte Limo, he knows, have gone back to drive taxi.

March and April usually very quiet, that's what I heard.
Thats why you must know how to save when you earn.
Dont spend all in one shot.
This line very funny actually, November to Feb quite busy.
March and April will slow down. May and June to July pick up slightly. August still ok, Sept got F1 to help you. October tahan one month then November busy again.
Thats my experience. I do not know about others.
