OMO or half shift better for Limousine Taxi

After 7 years of OMO, from normal till today..
.body system a bit unbalance.
Coffee talk, people share how good to have relief..but also heard how some relief owe..

I have spend a big part of my TDs days driving as relief.... I have tried the last year of TD on OMO.
Frankly speaking, driving OMO is no easy task. You must have the discipline day in day out... even if you don't feel like driving, you still need to breakeven on the rental.
There are a few options, if you got a corporate a/c or a/cs to service (on weekdays), get a weekend(s) relief @ discounted rent. Drivers need sufficient rest.
Secondly, get a full time relief. Share your rental liabilities. Share your corporate a/cs with him/her. Your revenue may not be lesser, it could even be better on low seasons.

IMHO.. this is very subjective, no definite which is better. It's all come to individual preference and their lifestyle needs. Be it a limousine or normalsine..

then go OMO lah....
OMO = not much social life.

Of course,
getting a GOOD relief is not easy....some request for fetch and send.... but make sure he stays around your area. Too far, then not feasible... the time taken sending or fetching already taken some time off your working 12 hrs shift.

Not suka suka use taxi do viewing one, most clients will feel uncomfortable. I serve owner more, so just open door, don need to drive around. And I don co-broke one..heehee, not very nice to let other agent know that he's dealing with TU. That's why, with so much restriction, I spent more time in TD, good and no time lobang throw to Chris, he know how to cover me one. -

I know him since 1994, during that time in DW, he still small fry, than lady luck fall on him. Than I left Army 1999, don't know what to do, check my phone book, saw his number, no regret to call him that time. -

Last time Newpaper also have, than they abolish away, I OMO not because of side line la, I don't like trouble one, change shift, pump diesel, wash car..etc I like to do things in my own way, thinking of next time if rental ballon to 170, knn don find relief also cannot. -

My daily operation cost.... (including insurance & road tax) for 10yrs... is only $50 per day.

No customers base leh. Or else I buy 7 series do PRIVATE. I depend on Comfort and Callers a lot those type one. Property Agent cannot generate stable income. So what house fully paid, just a roof over my head. Daily routine still need $, me not cash rich type, still must earn a living one...hahaha -

Pros> OTOT, ur vehicle ur responsibility, everyday just start car and good to go, got jobs can just take since all 24hrs ur veh is on standby with u. Problem ? confirm your own problem no need to recall as much lol
Cons> Full rental liability, dun drive or cannot drive also pay 100% rental, if lack discipline end up going "over drive" and suffer fatigue
Split shift with relief
Pros> Less rental to headache which also translate more income from it, "forced" to work within a fix time frame so will have more time for personal leisure.
Cons>Can be a hassle to find a suitable relief and got to ensure a relief who can perform jobs well for u esp if u have regulars who may require service beyond ur shift hrs and of course vice versa, u may have to help him as well...(esp for limo TDs) GST for each other? can be another headache at times lol

Half shift better. How long can you work? More than 12 hours? Your body dun need to rest?

OMO pros - own time own target. Don't need to top up diesel even about to head home. Sometimes, 2-3 days then pump also no problem. Can allocate your timing to suit your limousine regular guests. Also, can burnt some time at the AP Limo Q. if u drive half shift, u won't want to waste 1-2 hrs there right? The disadvantage - drive like crazy if on particular days you don't feel like driving. Haha.

One day 10-12 jobBro, where got enuf with tat amount and trip. Shud be much higher leh... I belif when u drive normalsine u do much better than limousine.. And drive limousine is less fatigue due to the comfort and road holding of the vehicle.. U drive half morning half night or whole day?
