Limo Forum - Limousine cab vs Normal cab. The Pros & Cons.

  Hi brothers of TDs....

  Please state your views and opinions on the benefits & disadvantages of driving Mercedes, Maxi and/or Chryslers limousine taxis over normal taxis.

  Majority of our limousine TDs' forummers have normal taxi driving experiences.  You should be about the contribute your views on this issue.  Let's share our opinions in this friendly discussion.

  from me a pax point of view..

  pros: like the luxury feeling & also the friendly cabbie who's behind the wheel..

  cons: not many on the roads as compared to the normal cabs..

  Anyway, there is a certain (min) % limousine cabs over the normal cabs, a requirement by the authority.

   I believed many of the limousine drivers are staying put in your current vehicles.

  From my personal experience and my humble point of view...

  Personal comfort and the safety aspect of driving merc cab anytime surpassing the normal cab

  Able to do corporate booking like Airport transfers, dispossal jobs wif fixed rate compare to normal cab, ofcoz this everyone know lah..

  Driving less with more income...

  And for the passengers... "Travelling In Style"...

  Maxi cabs have ONLY 200 units....

  Limited numbers are definitely better.  

  1 can take,

  These days, meter fare getting slower and slower, normalsine rental also not cheap, crown cannot make it if got weak leg..if possible, get a limousine, do some research, get advice from JDIL, F1 or Sam, not me, I still junior, enough to eat myself only..shouldn't be a problem..

  driving a limousine cab gives you more options... (can sweep floor, take corporate jobs etc). 

  though the rental is slightly higher...

  but diesel consumption can be lower than Sonata.

  Beside low rental, why people still want to drive normal taxis?

  Are there other requirements? (eg, must be able to speak in English?)

  Many older TDs doesn't want to wear white long sleeves shirts, black pants and leather shoes.

  Communication in English is a must lah.... If Limo go AP, cannot spell english... funny right ?
