Is it right to modify your limousine taxi

  See some mecedes cab with different,

  ...is it legal to do so...

  and some even have,

  ...on their windscreen and there's a group of                                                                               mercedes cab even have,

  ...stickers all over...

  Just being curious...any comments?

  I think to change sport rim is ok as long the tyre is of the same size as the taxi company provided, otherwise have to use own pocket money to replace the worn out tyre.So far I saw only 1 CDG limo with his own sport rims.

  Those Transformer sticker i also saw 1 on TC merc..

  Pls lah.... yours is a OLD MERCEDES LIAO... furthermore, you think CDG will allow you to modify here and there....

  Rims... still okie.... but.. you have to return back at the original condition if required.

  I saw a Sonata with rear wing...(but CDG had asked the driver to take it out)... Ah Beng's cab.

  Modifications of any kind will affect the insurance coverage.... you think again... you want to take the risk if the insurance company (for CDG) didn't allow the claim to go thru ?

  No modifications lah...

  only changed the bulbs from yellow to white (inside vehicle).

  Our vehicles (Sam & Mine) came with 16" inches rim....

  Sam upgraded to 17" with sport rims... (maybe wait for him to post himself)...  later he got nothing to post.

  White Mercedes are supposed to be the premier taxi.... how to have advertisement all over the car ?  It will make a mockery out of the branded vehicle costing almost 3x to 4x the price of the normal sonata.

  No matter what, taxi ultimately belong to company, don need spend this kind of money. But if my 7 series, than different, everything must sng swee swee. One of my friend spent thousand of dollars put karaoke system inside his merc cab, than wiring keep on shock here, shock there, ask him got pax really sing inside his taxi, he say no, than wtf.
