Will pm you if there's any. But recently, night drivers really kpkb...after fare adjustment, night shift huat for a while, suddenly....
No joke if you are regular taxi takers, everyday 25% more...chao meh siam one until midnight..might as well take MRT lo...and best part is, MRT seldom break down at night..lol..you notice that?
Thanks Brother OWT.
Will walk around car park after I passed my TDVL.

I know next door been promoting relief first for newbies...I start from OMO since day 1..don't see any disadvantages on that.
Of course is up to individual to decide what suit you the best. Partnership never in my right mind, there's no word call chin chin chye chye in Taxi Driving, you will realize that once you start to OTR.
Especially for white, half shift never, never work well in long run..as soon as you get your first regular, that will be the start of the problem.
Last week, my regular call me for departure at 3pm..ended up hourly for 5 hrs before her departure..just imagine I had to change shift, how? Tell my regular, my relief taking over me? She will tell you to go fly kite and that might be the last time she call you.
Some regulars just want you to drive them around, they like your personal touch and services, in fact, most white kakis sacrify personal time a lot...just need to be careful on juggling personal and working time.
Of course that's for white, normal taxi, bo dai ji, start engine all the way and stop engine, but during those years, I still prefer to be OMO, pay a bit more but save all the problems on human relationship...hahaha
I think I can understand that. Once you have regulars, it become quite troublesome if you can only drive 12 hours and has to hand over to your hirer/relief.
Yes, the other side has been advising newbies to start as relief. It does have its valid reasons.
For me, I would also like to start as a relief to condition myself, making sure I can make it before going OMO or Hirer's path.
But if I can't find a hirer, I might consider to start as a OMO or as a hirer, find a relief and see I progress from there.
Coming monday (last day for TDVL course), SMRT will give us a sale talk. Heard a new batch of Chevrolet Epica available as early as Jun.
So, I am still keeping my options open.
Ultimate aim is to become a Limo Driver.

Tomorrow they will brief us. Will update the latest here.
They said COE goes up, Rental goes up.
So, When COE goes down, will the rental of the new batch be lower than the previous batch?
If it's lower, wouldn't the previous batch of TD throw key?

If you decided to go 2 shift, old or new cab doesn't matter. Once you start as a relief, cost of operation become a must.
Why pay a different in rental for same model of cab? Some hirer maintain their cab like their own, select properly, not only looking for location....for CDG, check their service log card, if this cab keep on break down, will show very clearly with red ink on it.
Like mine....hahaha(one card not enough)

So far...for taxi rental...the last so many years...only up never came down...
COE just an excuse...NBCB...
I think it's a supply and demand issue, if no taxi drivers willing to pay that rental price, all their taxi will stick in the backyard.
Somehow, singaporeans are never united enough, just look at Malaysia Bersih and Ong Kong citizens, the not happy, they gather a lot (means a lot to show their unhappiness)
What Singaporeans do? HDB, condo so expensive, they still buy. Elections, they still vote to be screwed. After the the erection, transport fare increase, electricity increase, petrol/diesel also increase, fishball noodles, chix rice all increase.
Nobody kpkb leh. What signal we sending to our garment?

If you wan low overhead cost, only way is be relief,
If you can manage pumping cng well, wish is good chioce to OMO,
OMO for epica, old bird maybe can try,
for newbie better dun touch,
overhead $150 include diseal, no joke...........
