Hi fellow forumers,
Well, everybody has their favourite brand or model in their mind. The model must be graded as limousine vehicle and care to share your utmost choice with us ?
As Thread Starter (TS), let me start the ball.... .
My personal preference Brand is Mercedes-Benz of cos.... but Mercedes-Benz didn't produced a car like Toyota Alphard, a luxury MPV. Mercedes-Benz only have Viano as MPV, which I am driving now.
If I have the resources, my personal choice will be.....
Mercedes Benz R series.
This vehicle cost above S$320k, in exchange, the amount can purchased 2 Mercedes-Benz Viano (on commercial plate) and some spare cash for modifications. .
What about... the Mercedes-Benz flagship.....
the...
. Too good a dream to come true....
I prefer to max out the volume in the car. Viano is ideal because can go inside multi storey carpark.
I would not want to go back to anything less than 9-seater.
My business comes from moving homes, rubbish and lots of people. Of course a few people also can. They book me too, even though a 4-seater would suffice.
I have no qualms when pax want to load until luggage hits ceiling and total obstruction of left and rear views. I will oblige and not complain. Its the reason why I drove a maxicab - to do these jobs which many cabbies hated.
Once upon a time, rumours Comfort intend to launch,
...C-Class...Wtf.
They even had this private c-class park at Sin Ming to collect feedback.
Than don't know who big mouth, speculated that Comfort coming out,
...E250...Dream..
Anyway, if I have a chance to select....definitely....it must be,
Is always my dream car BMW 7 series.....but like what I say...DREAM.
7 Series = S Class....
Minimum entry already $350k liao.....
Dream on.
Before I invested into Viano....
I'm impressed by look & style of....
Toyota Estima Aeras
Sorry, me don't know how to post pics yet despite trying many time.
NPNT?
Why nobody consider Audi? I like the Audi A6= Merc E Class
Audi A8 = Merc S Class.
How about VW? VW phanteon is also very good.
In America, they use Cadillac or Chrsyler for Limo, Australia uses Holden, England they use Jaguar? Bently?
How about China and Russia?

No problem... me picture king here ... onewaytransfer is picking up too....
Pictures enough Bro Sam ?
Audi 6....
Looks comfortable...
but well know for their petrol thirsty engines.
Jaguar XF?
The new variant's 2.2 litre diesel produces a healthy 141kW and 450Nm of torque. Combined with a new eight-speed ZF automatic transmission and stop/start technology, the small diesel lists fuel consumption figures of 5.4 l/100km.
Australian performance figures are still to be revealed, but Jaguar's earlier international release points to a 0-100km/h time of 8.5 seconds.
The new diesel is based on the 2.2 litre engine used by Ford and Land Rover, and features a water-cooled turbocharger, low-friction pistons, a new crankshaft and new injectors.
Standard features for the entry-level 2.2 diesel XF include Bluetooth connectivity & audio streaming, Jaguar Smart Key System with keyless start, rain-sensing wipers, automatic climate control with air filtration and dual zone temperature control for driver and front passenger, auto on/off bi-xenon and LED daytime running lamps.
When we are in the limousine market, we have to look for overall performance, including maintenance cost (replacing parts), diesel/petrol consumption, resale market (value), reliability, comfortability for passengers.
Probably Jag has changed alot, from Uncle's vehicle to racer boys car....
Anybody touching on Volvo ?
Any chance taxi company using Jaguar as Limo Cab? I'll be camping overnight infront of the taxi company entrance to que for registration.. hahaha...

Very very unlikely. No need to camp there... you can go home now.
