As a regular being Commando, one must die die pass the Ranger course. When I leave the Army, still fail to obtain Ranger tag. The fitness must be tip top. Only when you are ready, than you enroll yourself to the course. -
My medals was seal and well kept in my house cabinet. My awards, my commendation letter..etc, really make me feel sad. Even writing this topic also will feel my tears dropping out. And for you guys information, I don't even need to serve in camp training, the Army really deserted us.

For me, I really enjoy driving, everyday is not the same, sometimes I get good pax, sometimes I go Sentosa, sometimes I go zoo, I go everywhere and I quite like it.

When I driving normal last time, my taxi usually will head towards Changi Village area, especially Fri and Sat night. Use to be my playground and hope to hit the jobs from Hendon Camp, than will try those small boys on my grandfather stories. As the years went by, no more that kind of mind set anymore. -

After leaving the army reluctantly, failed to settle down myself to proper jobs, for 5 miserable years, jobs hopping here and there.
Than someone recommend me taxi driving, took the test, pass, and stuck with Comfort until today’s.
Sometime just wondering, why can sustain driving taxi for so many years. Come to think about it, maybe is the only jobs that one only working alone and that can really make you forget about the best of my Army life.

I dun know your past... me? i was in retail line , partner with my brother. 2 shops . Good days can make 1k pure profit.
hmmmm then came a lot of shit , high rentals , high costs. supplier issues.
after 2 1/2 years of good run , everything collapsed.
Then went to work as a helpdesk operator , then try my hand in property , then at 30 started TD as a part time thing. what was a part time thing became full time. farking 10 years , i feel like dying lol

I feel sadness for all brothers here, all of you seemed to have a very colorful past.
But all of you are doing well now, at least no need to engage in office politics anymore.
I may be a joke as my family are full of TDs, my maternal grandfather was one driving yellow top but now he retire Liao.
My dad drove Comfort last time the the Toyota Corona. Now retired too.
My 大伯, also comfort TD, before he drove Comfort, he drove the 霸王车。
My 6th and 8th Uncle also TD driving Comfort and Wish respectively...
For me, I was getting no where in my previous career, I was sick and tired for working for others, I just wanted to try something new and became a limo driver, I find this job quite ok so maybe I will continue but GOD knows for how long?
