I rather long 80 lots of CDGE stock and drive a Comfort Viano.
Buying an excursion bus at current COE prices is madness.
The COE premiums would be even higher after August 2012...
When the current 1.5% to be slashed down to 0.5% of the (total vehicles on the road) new COE being to take into account.
Lesser COE.... higher the premiums.... from Aug 2012 to Jan 2015.
It is going to be.... for the COE premiums.

For me, only G- Dep and G- Arr through MDT.
I only try my best to bid Western sector jobs. Unless not enough, than go for Central sector.
The recent fare adjustment for guarantee jobs make it more justify to perform the jobs dutifully.
CDG invoice jobs or account jobs. Maxi got plenty, but not so much during low season.
After the adjustment, only the western sector and tuas / jurong island arrivals and departures make sense.
But I refuse to bid them because CDG account jobs is maciam cheating. CDG invoiced their corporate customers $10 extra, meaning it costs $60 for a maxi AP dep from Tuas / Jurong Island, and $63 for a maxi AP arrival to Tuas / Jurong Island.
I dun like their way of doing business. Its good business, but bad principles. If CDG cannot be transparent in their corporate pricing to cabbies, I refuse to support their jobs regardless how well they pay.
CDG gives corporates some discount depending on distance to airport. This again is good business, but bad principles. Bad for cabbies who had to do all the work. Once again, I will not support them.
Flat fare means flat fare. Distance based means use fare meter. Please dun mix them up.

Actually, why I say western sector? At least the $ very close to 4 seated Limousine prices
Just cannot understand why different sector different $..
Maybe for this, piss off a lot of drivers..
Yes... CDG pays more for western areas.... (many TD will reject)
If expressway is smooth sailing, then ok lah...atmost takes 30mins.
The problem with CDG invoice jobs is that they page out 3 days in advance. Never 1hr before or last min, except during new year when they got no takers.
Getting tied up 3 days in advance, and still cannot collect full $50 except from west and tuas.
CDG premier dept can go eat shit.

Of course, if our regulars base not strong, than no choice,
....
Sweeping floor whole days is not idealistic for 4 seated mercedes cab, due to high rental overhead, time also not enough to use.
Sometimes I see those one way transfer job from hotel in town to Tuas South. For a mere $31 I wonder who will entertain? Imagine morning peak do this kind of shit job. Lol

Agreed, that's why they always say, see properly than bid...
Ultimately someone will miss cue and bid the jobs, need not worry for them...

Subsequent offence, serious case might,

During my time
many drivers (including me) suka suka changed and cancelled jobs.... but never kena warning letter(s) on this....
from my understanding, you will kena warning letter from cancelling job now...
There are a few incidents, hirers bidded for reliefs (or via visa), the other parties failed to go for corporate jobs transfers. If guest is a Super VIP. Both (hirer & relief) can gets immediate terminations.

There's one classic case, heavy downpour one day, this classic driver last minute cancelled a G-DEPARTURE without knowing the consequences...
After few days, Comfort sent him a termination letter, reason is because of his irresponsible behavious resulting in the passenger,
...
If you ever kena termination letter from cdge, and regretted your actions, just go sin ming level 2 and find simon chai or michael heng. Apologise to them, be sincere, be humble, lower your head, dun be rude, and they will UN-terminate you. Can carry on driving.
I am your living proof.
