LET taxis companies suffers.
They can't raise rental suddenly..... in short term, it won't affects them....
but if they wants to expand their fleet, then, their new business vehicles with the increased COE premiums will eat into their profit margins....(u heart pain for them?)
TD ? will not be affected directly.

For Sonata... they can breakeven in 2-3 yrs....
the balance 5-6 yrs are their PROFITS.
Did they share the profits with you ? Wait long long... also dun have.
So, it won't affect you even if COE surged to 100,000 levels.
Mercedes cab... maybe by 4 yrs breakeven...
hence...
they can make 1 mercedes cab in the next 4 yrs of taxi lifespan.

Not necessary, if you good drivers, record very clean, no complain, got compliment by pax before, and most importantly, very prompt in rental.......
They will bother to check with you, offer you alternatives, a good drivers hard to come by....

CDG must know how to stir.....if you want to fight for your right..
Must know who is who......and their weak point.....
If you just want to drive Mercedes with CDG without knowing anyone on top, than be prepare to tio makan loh....believe me or not....
Some of the old birds are more daring......me only 70% of their skill.....but enough to survive in this tough market....
