Hi fellow forumers,
I have received a number of Pte-Msgs in my mailbox recently, due to the new founded Limousine Forum as a subforum to SgForums, asking me the above mentioned title.
I hereby wish to clarify that the subforum owner (Sam.seah) & me (JDIL) are NOT here to recruit and / or trying to recruit forumers to be new members for our current Pte Limo Group. There have been speculations about this & I have to voice out our concerns once & for all.
Both of us (Sam & me) are from 2 different socially formed Pte Limousine Groups. We formed this forum is for the benefits of all limousine drivers, and/or limousine interested drivers and forumers who may, one day, be part of our trade. There must not be any conflict of interests.
There could be some subforums out there, who may benefits the subforum starter directly or indirectly, but Limo Forum is 100% NOT associated to any limousine groups or taxi stands.
We are definitely against this motive & the forumers can be assured that this issue do not happened in Limousine Forum.
I hereby thanks forumers whom Pte-Msg Me. If you have further doubts, please feel free to Pte-Msg Sam.seah, F1taxidriver or me. We must be transparent to our fellow forumers.

We takes people views neutrally, we can't make everybody satisfied at the same time. Those forumers whom Pte-Msg me, may have been conned when they are associated with other subforums.
It is also better to clarify it black and white on a thread open for all forumers or thread followers to view and feedback.
This should be the way. We do not benefits from this subforum operations. It is all charity work.

These forumers whom have been following my posts in Taxi subforum know that I am giving true and honest advices.
I will continue to give these honest advices and opinions, within my knowledge, in this subforum, Limousine Forum.

We are here not to advertise our service, we are only here to share.
At this moment, we have not even posted our contact numbers to create awareness for ourselves, nvm if this is a close trade or what, doing business is about competition! Whose hand is longer? He deserve to get the business.
Business is always there and also competition.
Comfort is a very big taxi coy, but they forever are facing competition from so many other taxi coy and taxi stand.
Other than LakeView, there is also Beach Road taxi stand and so much more. But Comfort is still in the business.
Does not mean that other limo driver start thir business, we have no business, our business will still be there too. We can never eradicate competition. Competition makes us think of how to make our business better.
As for our Limo Group? We shan't talk too much about our groups, joining group is just another way to network and get information. we have no intention to recruit any members because our groups are self sufficient.
From what I understand, joining certain taxi stand involves monetary transactions too.
But coming into this forum is a just a way to network...

I fully agreed with Sam and JDIL. Recruiting members ? We do not have a taxi stand, neither do we need a forum for our business. Finding more limo kakis and building friendships is a normal thing.
With or without a forum, life goes on.
Driving a limo can be just as boring as driving a taxi. Having friends to share the boredom is natural.

We are not here to market ourselves or services.
The Limo forum is created for limousine drivers, and/or forumers interested to be a limousine driver (wishes to learn & know more).
No membership requires in the forum.

Well, our main intention as discussed in other treads, are to create a common place for all limousine drivers or even non-drivers to come in and share their views & contribute to the Limo Forum. Hence quality threads are our priority.
Ex-threads can be used as references for new forumers coming into SgForums every now and then seeking for advices and opinions.
As Sam (subforum owner), F1TD & me (as subforum Moderators), we are from 3 different groupings. We had come to an agreement that we do not solicit or recrult any forumers as new members to our respective Pte Limos or Maxi grouping.
Forumers can do Pte-Msg us for advices, but we do not encourage such activities as the "subforum controllers".
** (Some TCSS are allowed also as forum discussions can be dry and boring).

If somebody wants to create a subforum with the 1st motive of selling his product(s) to the fellow forumers....it is prefectly fine, if the forumers wanted to be used by him and his selling tactics.
Which also applies that his initial objective is not to create a common place for discussion.
To avoid this issue from the start, this thread has been discussed between the subforum's moderators stating our point of view.
Spelled it out in black and white. To be transparent and honest to our fellow forumers should be the way to gain trust.
