Hi 3 stars general.
You can start a thread here, with any discussion related to Limousine driving or any related matters. You are welcome.
We do have forumers whom are non-TD, TD newbies and normal Taxis drivers. We do not segregate normal cab driving TDs from Limo driving (becos you won't know when that you may be driving limousine cabs in the future).
Just a gentle reminder to keep your post friendly @ all times and only start a thread asking for Limousine related or On-the-road experiences.
Thanks.
JDIL.
Actually, from my point of view, it is very difficult to segregate drivers into different categories, different leagues, becos, at the end of the day, we are all professional drivers on the road.
We (this new forum) has been formed only recently and it is not becos we are interested to run our own forum. If you have read the threads and posts in the Taxi Forum, they or the subforum owner isn't keen to have limousine topics there.
Hence, not to disappoint limousine drivers, we (Sam and me) have planned and discussed it before submitting this subforum into SgForums. We also recruited Mr F1taxidriver to be our team Moderator.
Please give your support to the new forum and hereby, wish your stay with us to be good and comfortable one.
Cheers.
If you have read my previous posts in Taxi drivers' forum, I provided sincere and honest replies to forumers who need advices. From accident's claim thread to negotiating with potential hirers. And not forgetting my efforts on the funny pictures that enclosed with my posting....
But seems like the subforum owner doesn't appreciates my efforts after all. Well, it is okie, life goes on.
I did my part (as a forumer) to ensure the newbies in the industry, get my best advices as possible. The rest is for the forumers to judge.
Cheers.
If you are free (with some time to spare)... you can read thru the threads in this forum. After that, you will briefly know that Sam & Me are not limousine cabbies.
We are in related field, private limousine which is also related to limousine cabs. Driving limo cabs are the starting point, eventually graduating to drive for ourselves rather than for the taxi company.
Originally posted by 3 stars general:It is good that you and Sam formed this forum to share with us about Limo. Driving taxi for long also very boring. Sweep the road from this corner to that corner, sometime cannot pick up customer can be very demoralize and stressful. The taxi customer base is so much different from Limo customers base in term of their attitude and expectation. Taxi customer tends to be more fussy and temperament and they like to challenge driver using their little Iphone on the route to their destination and this will lead to some unpleasant situation.
To serve Limo customer, you need to be very customer service oriented and with good knowledge of singapore history, place of interest, place of makan …. . Most Limo customers are generous and if you service is good, they will support you forever.
