This is sort of a trade secret, a secret why my guests keep coming back to me. They are happy with me and my service, shall i share?
I have my reservations but I am feeling generous, so I will go ahead and share my skills.
1)be well groomed
2)never ever smoke in your own car, pax nose very sharp
3)maintain cleanliness of the interior and exterior of car at all times
4)nvr ever on your music loud although limo drivers invest in their stereo
5)never eat in your own car too, will attract all kind of pest
6)try not to put too many figurines or sticker on the dashboard
7)always check with pax if aircon is too cold or warm
The above are our hardward(car and mis en place)
Now, the soft skills part. Seems like all of us have an iPad, tab or note, do you realize that it is o enough just to be a driver anymore?
What I do? I offer to make recommendations for restaurants (tripadvisor) iPad app, make reservations (concierge services). Always keep myself updated on the recent happenings in town such as Lion King Musical, upcoming river safari at the zoo, opening of Gardens By the Bay and etc.
Our guests are somewhat different, they are considered business class visitors and our service and car must justify the rates hat they pay for.
Anymore good ideas to share to make our guests happy?
Please feel free to add in.
Otherwise, do feedback to us on what you expect and we can try to improve ourselves.
Thank you!
Do you provide free wi-fi.. free printer etc... like the one reported in the paper not long ago.....
Beside all those attractions..the history of Singapore and the knowledge of historical buildings around the island is also important b'coz more than often tourist will ask.. if u can impress them... u shud noe wat is ur next step...
I give up on those pax long long time ago..... Now those road show, don't need all the above.....90% sleeping, only 10% Otr, these so call VIP don't even want to know your name.......
They more worry on their next meeting...Free wifi and printer, good to have but not necessary, my pax in the car for at most 30mins y do they need a mobile office?
Knowledge is a must have, that one is no problem.
Another thing, although I am a Pte limo, pax can also pay by credit card.

Please switch to e-cig. I heard from many users that e-cig can be used inside a vehicle without leaving any stench. E-cig is very cost effective compared to normal cig.
I do not smoke by the way. Most maxicabbies and chrsyler cabbies who smoke already switched to e-cig. Where to buy ? Pls ask around when u r driving. We can only say so much online.

You are not doing it for yourself.....
You are doing it for your family too....

Just joking....
