Any forumers can open a new thread for a dicussion. We are not as restricted as "other" forums but always keep in mind that we may be "watched / monitored" too.
So, on your self discretion as we are all adults (supposedly) for this trade.
Limousine drivers, Limousine cabbies (including TDs) are welcome here to post.

Ok la, me first one throw la...... One of my Pte-limo kakis, always throw disposal to me, (last time) take care of me ma..... Per hours 35pts, white rubbish truck consider very good liao that time lo....... Just wonder, how much cut he earn? Cause pte-limo ma, should be getting higher than that for disposal..... Knn, he always tell me no GST la, but when collect $, always see him sit kopi shop drink tiger, me slog for him 6-7 hours...... If sensitive, never mind, anyway, how much he had secure the account actually also non of my business, just puzzles....... Than after few years of driving, got my own account job, so also never bother on that anymore, just curious.....

Why one wants to be Limousine driver rather than taxi driver?
Is Limousine driver consider one class higher than taxi driver?

Pte Limo for E-Class or Big cars (like Vito, HiRoof) ?
E-Class offered rate in the industry is not high... some can be as low as below 35pts or even lower.

Most of the Pte Limousine drivers started off from TDs.
I drove as a TD for almost 9 yrs. 2 yrs in the normal cab(s). and 7 yrs in the limousine cab(s).
Being a TD 1st give you more exposure on the road, you will know more places of interests and won't get lost (with your Limo guests) in Tuas...
.The skills in learning stage in Taxi driving is your knowledge forever. With your familiarity on the roads, getting from one place to another is already built-in in your mind.

Secondly,
being a (Pte) Limousine Driver = is recognised as an upgrading to a higher level of limousine service.
you definitely cannot sweep floor anymore....
your jobs are either hourly disposals
or AP transfers / or AP meet and greet arrival jobs.

This friend of mine, now driving Alphard, ex CDG limo driver also..... Usually the disposal only fetch one or two people for meeting or etc, so don't know consider small or big cars.... -

Internet websites rates may go as high as 65pts. do some google lor... you can sure find some results... hahaha.

If this company secure by the main caller, to earn on GST is consider reasonable..... But o, recent practice, the same job will pass hand to so many Durian Kia, than these Dk each will take some GST and ended up, the job is not worth doing..... Another situation is DH hand are very tight, no $ to roll, than he will enage a few DK to dong $ for him, than ended up GST here and there, knn.... -

Precisely, CDG minimum 2 hours disposal 90pts subsequent hours is up to u to quote..... But o group very rare will hear 40pt hourly, most time 35pt or even 30pt.....so me also follows lo...... My contract is 50pts per hours net, another one is 45pts.....but 3 mths terms, so normally I try to do myself......lucky mine all official hours one, personal disposal, me no entertain, cause old liao, cannot dong night, mahjong still can consider....hahaha... I use to have small account, but not worth effort, than people protong jalan, also never mind la.....those 25 pts one day use 7-8 times one, cb no life...... -
Well...
for some of my regulars (from Mercedes Limo cab days, whom have been with me for more than 4-5yrs)...
they still call me on AP transfers even I am driving a Viano now...
I told them the rates increased recently ... the Limos cabs @ 45pts for Dep. 55pts for Arrival. Pte Vito is 5pts more on each side.
They seems to accept the new changes. What they want is a reliable driver.

Very true, they want a reliable driver and to be honest, pax wh order our services do NOT really care about the $$$, if those who really care, they will take taxi.
Today I received a phone call saying have guests arriving Saturday and how much I charge, I quote her $55 (very good rate) and she say will consider and never get back anymore.
