Got some friends whom own....
the older version of Toyota Camry.... using them as "Limousine transport" across the crossway.
There are a few.....
Nissan elgrand MPVs as Pte Limo.... (seen them around?)
A competitor to Toyota Alphards.
same as Alphards, the boot (luggages space) seems limited...
thought there were this option from CDG limo fleet?
no more liao? thought it will be interesting to see how the volvo fare in this market since it's uncommonly used for limo
the designer used ruler for everything? so much straight lines lol

So far, never heard that there are any Volvo in the Pte Limo industry leh....
CDG have many other things to consider.... maintainenace of the vehicle is their priority....
CDG Premier department told me they will chose from Volvo, Chrysler and Mercedes. Just one brand for the new limocab fleet.

already many drivers have this logo infront of their hi-ace.
Have to ask Sam.seah... he owned and drove one before.
A Toyota high roof is a minibus, even you put Lexus logo also no use.
The engine is beneath the passenger seat, so when you accelerate, you and your vip pax can hear the beautiful lorry sound...
That is why some VIPs will always prefer a VITO/Viano, we are so much quieter. Imagine at 90km/h, the RPM is only about 1.8 to 2k rpm, so quiet, so smooth. Even when we sah corner, our grip is so much better, the tyre and rim size is 225/55/R17 or 225/60/R16, and our tyre brand if use Continental, will be so nice.
You try drive the high roof at 100km/h on the benjamin shares bridge, when the wind blows, you will know how bad and dangerous the high roof is, for our Vito/Viano, no such problem, if you dare, you can try 120km/hr and you don feel anything.
The Vito and Viano is such a pleasure to drive, it simpl makes you addicted to it.
Please dun say I imagine things but when I drive my Vito, I can feel it telling me, jus drive whichever way you want, fas or slow, I can take good care of you and your pax, give me a very confident feel.
When drive high roof, speed over 100km/h, I can feel the high roof tell me, slow down, I am not made to drive so fast...
And when arrive at meetings or dinners, it will always be more respectable if you arrive in a Merc or contininental make, it gives you the WOW factor.

If people want free ride in a hiroof, just go to any RWS hotel concierge and ask for free transfer from say festive to equarius hotel.
Got one hiroof uncle there doing the free shuttle service. Not sure how he secured this kang tao.
I was there and tested out the ride with family n kids. Free ride. My feeling was the seats were too hard, lack of leg room, and bad all round visibility from pax seats. Mercedes Viano is still better and more comfy.

The seats are not so comfortable also....
small and cram...
big size guys (like me).... cannot sit on 1 seat only.
The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class (Blue efficiency engines) same as Viano....
Cost a cool $241,888 now with Cycle & Carriage. Just a E200 CGI. 1796cc
Fucking expensive.....
