Actress Rachael Leigh Cook appeared in a PETA "Save the Seals" campaign, where she called for "a permanent end to Canada's annual slaughter of baby seals for their fur." The PETA website details that Cook described the practice as "shocking" and called on the Canadian government to listen to calls to end "this bloody massacre."
Italian celebrity Elisabetta Canalis may be better-known for her stint on "Dancing With The Stars" and as the former flame of George Clooney, but it's her nude "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign that's put her on every fur-hater's map. She told PETA, "I decided to go nude because I think that nudity always creates a big reaction... [if] that is required to keep people's attention on such a brutal practice."
