Fire alarm turns out to be a parrot

A woman who complained about a fire alarm repeatedly going off was surprised to find out it was actually a parrot!
The 25-year-old woman from Devon claims she was “pushed to the edge” by the noise which went off repeatedly over a week. It was only when she was hanging out her washing in the garden that she spotted the African grey parrot sitting on a water butt.
It turns out the parrot, called Sammi, had escaped from a neighbour and spent the whole week outside mimicking a fire alarm.
His owner said: “He’s always picking up funny noises from anywhere and everywhere!”
