GMC is not anymore located at Maxwell, can i ask when did you file your case and when did you receieved your money back from GMC?
I already went to SCT and had receievd a court order that they should refund the total amount but they can't be located i was trying to get in touch with this company can you help what do you think our next course of action?

I have just read this forum after my ex coulleague told me about it.
We too are the victim..he still own us our pay, use our credit card for members book on line and never pay our cpf..he too running away from us, avoiding our call...but we know where they are...

hmm..hi guys, pardon me for being harsh, but what's the use of contacting ex GMC staff if they themselves cannot get back their money? What do you think about the chance of getting your money back? I guess is none..
Knowing information from ex GMC would help at least we know where can we fine them.

Sadly, i'm one of the victim of the scam company of GMC. I've met Brian, Henry, Sonia, Wati, Hanis & a few others.
Can you help me solve my problem with them. I've terminated my membership account with them but its the $$$ which they still owe me.
I've even got the written proof which states that the amount will be refunded to my credit card account but its been 3 months & no news.
i've pay them a visit a week ago but was shock to see that every single one of them vacated the premises. I approached a few people to ask abt them, which they mention that some of them moved to people's park area.
i've gone through all the posted complains here in sg forums & also in all other travels website under GMC & all single one of them are alike & it also concerns abt the $$$.
i hope you understand my position & together with all the other victims that are affected.
What will you do if you were in our shoes?
What will Henry do if he was in our shoes?

Hi All, yesterday I got a mail from Moey and Yuen notifying me to pay up my outstanding balance with Smiths and Barons. Any similar case you have? My wife called CASE already and we will go there tomorrow to solve the issue.

I am totally shocked after seeing this forum as I am unaware of this scandel. Actually I have paid full money and not used even free travel ticket. I am in great pressure from my family to get the money back.

Just go to SCT. with the sct report, Smiths & Baron will not be able to force you to pay the outstanding amt as you have a case to fight with them. Tell S&B that you have gone to sct and tell them to wait for their letter for consultation!

i went to CASE but didnt get any good feedback. They mentioned that since we entered a contract, we are at fault since we didnt honor it. They created a letter for me though. I also joined CASE and got some useful documents.
On worst case scenario, I may be forced to go to SCT if S and B will do further actions.

I guess this is correct. But gh5128.. what is the exact case that you are referring? For me, I can say that since I have never paid in full and hasn't gone to any travel agent to get a travel quote... I can confirm that they didn't inform me of the option to cancel the contract within a certain period. This is part of the consumer protection (fair trading) act as mentioned in the pamphlet. And if you only knew it on a particular day, better send a formal letter to cancel the contract. This is the reason why I formally sent them a registered mail of my intention to cancel the contract.

I'm another victim of S&B who got sucked into this. Thank you "Mindeye", Kena Scam, Obatsaan, helping.people48, gh5128... you all have been very helpful and supportive to all the victims. I really appreciate that.
I have gone to CASE months ago and am waiting for the mediation with S&B soon ( yes, it's been a long wait because S&B people have been "very busy"). CASE told me to try mediation first, and if it doesn't work then to go through SCT. I have read through your blog notes and it seems going through SCT is faster and more effective. Please don't hesitate to go to SCT and file a claim agaist S & B if you were misrepresented to sign up their contract.
I can say many same cases won back the money paid.
I am one of them and waiting for my cheque to be sent now.
