There are some topics that will come out in the "O" level exam almost every year.

(1) Curve Graph
A typical "O" level E. Maths curve graph question will consist of 2 parts.
The first part will ask candidates to derive a curve function. The second part will ask the candidates to draw the curve followed by many small parts on the curve graph.

"O" Level Statistics Questions often consist of 2 parts. The first part will be questions on statistics and the second part will usually be questions on probability.

(3) Algebra
"O" Level Algebra Questions will consist of 2 main types of questions. The first type will be on the application of algebra and the second type will be the mechanical part of algebra ie factorise, solve, make an alphabetical letter as the subject, expand, simplify, algebraic fractions, evaluate, express in algebriac form.

(4) Pythagoras and Trigonometry and its applications
"O" Level Pythagoras and Trigonometry and its applications Questions will consist of 2 main types of questions. The first type will be on the finding of angle (including bearings), side and area using Pythagoras and Trigonometry. The second type will be the applications of Pythagoras and Trigonometry including bearings, angles of elevation and depression, and dimensional problems.
