Which camera to get?

  Hi all new to this forum!

  I know nuts about camera so need help with deciding what handheld camera to get at a price range of 400-600?

  Must be good quality but also convenient enough to bring overseas. Not looking at DSLR kinda cameras.

  Photography gurus and all are welcome to help thanks!

  Canon S95. But I reckon you can't figure out how to use it beyond the auto mode.

  I like samsung camera, very fun to use especially with kids. They have this dual lcd function which is very cool

  G12 - gives you a few more options than the S95, and the auto mode works just fine.
