Need advice about buying a digital camera and a camcorder!

  Hi, I need to get a digital camera that is compact, possibly a subcompact that is 8 megapixels or more. I do not know much about cameras, and what to look out for, so please advice me. 
  
  I also need to buy a camcorder. Again, I am a noob at this too. The only one I know about is Canon Legria. Is that a good brand/model?

  Now digital camera at least gt 10 mega pixels.

  You should chose one based on your needs like need anti handshake function or nightime photography etc.

  It really depends on yyour usage. if you just take photos some videos and upload online share with friends, there are many options available. you probably won;t need to explore the camcorder options since most compact digital cameras have video functions.

  Those who are in to serious video shoots and photo shotos will know what to choose or what to look out for, test at he stores and save inside their own memory cards for review later at home with the computer before buying. and trust me when you are serious in either art, you will know the videos in copact or hadphones can never replace a videocamera, while the stills in videocams can never replace a DSLR.
