Since it is already the outcome, think properly what you want to do. FOR YOURSELF!!!
good luck. Oh....If I ever see you, I'm still gonna to kick your butt.
haha
i doubt i have anymore time to surf forums and go outing...
since i choose to walk the hard path... this is the consequence... for now, i'll work like mad to clear my poly debts, then i will find NS before they find me i guess, asap complete my NS, most probably, my thinking will change in there...
Then maybe i might persue my studies from then on, or decide to continue earning my pathetic 1k per month... I should have a clearer view at that point of time...

He must have accepted that his decision is his making and its his future.
There is enough folks here, that even with one finger each, will squash him to the ground should he later try to whine about that decision.
I wish him all the best.
No regrets, for sure... I know what shits awaits me...
You chose your path now, no more looking back.
What's important now is to see what lies ahead and plan accordingly.
Boom Boom Pow !
Oh No! With a diploma its already so difficult to get a job, now without even As cert or diploma, you will hardly survive in Singapore.
National day somemore......haiz......
Then, let us know, what's your ambition? so we can help.....let you want to do business? or you want to do sales? or you want to do retailing? or you want to go private studies? or you want to switch course?
Somehow, from a lot of people's experience, there is a high chance you will regret your decisions if not properly thought out.
Being unhappy with your current poly course, or with friends, or not knowing what objectives or benefits your course could given you, doesnt warrant you to quit.

I rather clear my debts before the interests pile up to a moutian
Pika, if this is the road you decide to take, you have to be aware that you have to put in more hardwork compared to everyone else.
It is still possible to make it in life but the work you put in will be harder and you cannot afford to slack it off.
What course did Pika take?
oh well all e best..

So you already know it's not a joke, you already know how badly screwed you're most likely gonna be, and you're still treating it as a joke.
Lots of people gave you pretty reasonable advice over the past few weeks, but you willingly chose to turn it all down. So, what can I say? Good luck. You had better realize that anything good (or bad) that comes out from all this is entirely your responsibility.
You are a man now. Once reality bites, and you come back here to whine about it..... well, we'll see....
mlm
Anyway, guys... it's a phrase in life...
Been there done that. I went in and out of polytechnic without a cert. Then life carries on... after NS then get a diploma...
I guess it's up to pika to decide and hope he do not regret it... For me, it's just about the time lost and different path I would had taken up...
But then, if I didn't take up this path, I would even be here in sgf typing away... well, as least that I think.
Anyway, all the best for you.
Although I dun really know popikachu well, I feel it's not good to live your life this way. I have a cousin who also quitted poly, served NS first and now a freelance worker, doing all sorts of jobs at all sorts of timings. Life's hard and he realized the importance of having a recognised cert in the current rat race society.
Maybe popikachu has planned out what he wants to do in life. Perhaps, all I can say is go all out to do it and all the best in your future endeavours.

He should have sign on in NS.
Even if he only have O level he can still find a stable job
just wondering,.... why u quit again?
if debt is the main reason..... dun u think u can gotten rid of the debt easier after u finish ur poly? rather then clearing away the debt now and not have anything in return?
Scold you? why scold you?
Every1,including me, is bound to waste some time in their life. There are just somethings that you have to learn thru experience. Who knows? The path that you will find could be a better path.
But for heaven sake, whatever it is, please please please please please please dont whine, blame, complain or give up in the future. You just learn nothing from that... :p
Well... I remember some1 said tat u r like me so I trust that you are no such such such such person above. You will be fine...
Let's muahahahahahaaa 2gether...

Haha i only seems like treating it like a joke in front of others but when it comes to what to do I am pretty serious...

what is done can be undone at this point, u can write a letter of appeal to school, find a part time job that gives u flexible hours, make pocket money, drag ur haversack and ur ass to school, fall asleep in the bus, find a nice corner in campus, smoke in the toilet, there's so much freedom and possibilities in school, y do u want to Give It All Up, get drafted into NS prematurely at this point?
my observation is this - this whole quitting bullshit is a character flaw that needs 2 b corrected during the formative years of ur life - Right Now.
if u think u're buying an experience in school given ur background and circumstances, u're making a mistake. u need to buy a result. that result is improving ur character, ur determination and later on, achieving something u started. this leads to an improved quality life for urself and ur folks.
this is not about a piece of paper or defining urself with a diploma. it's about molding ur own character.
