  Just got job offering in SG  on the IT field.

  1 year contract amounted 4K/month, Is it enough for living in SG ?

  I heard living cost are very very very expensive there.

  please share any comments or suggestion

  Don't talk about the family, talk about his salary and he himself spending them only...

  5k per month still not enough...

  Well, what i want to say is how you spend you money...

  4k per month can consider quite a decent salary or even consider above average to some?

  Good to come here to SG to work then go back own country.    Govt here constantly raise the cost of living even during this worst recession Singapore has ever experienced.   

  Govt here force singaporeans to buy own "pension", they make this compulsory.

  Cost of living may be expensive. But it depends on how you live, we would not know if you're a big spender or if you prefer to scrimp and save.

  4k for one person is enough imo.

  u buy france mineral water

  eat swiss bread

  eat exp organic butter

  buy high grade ham

  everything also organic..

  complain this and that

  then 4k not enought for u

  Thanks all, for your positive responses here :),

  I'm Just ordinary person, I can conclude that eventhough living cost in SG are expensive, that amount still acceptable for living in SG :)
