ahh so we share the same ideals.. so did you proceed to study what ur heart desire or u went back to the dreaded engineering!

for my sch, the ratio of guys to girls is 1:2..
hahaha... the distance guys would go for girls. i don't get it though. :p
cool. so you got lotsa eye candies then.

hur hur. i went on to study sth i like :) psychology. i dun wanna touch anything related to engineering ever again. haha.

huh? i thought girls wouldn't get it if the guys didn't show determination to travel the distance to meet em? heh..
nah not really, like what they all say, the newer batches are always better..actually for my course no, eye candies were few and far between, but the other business courses like banking and business studies had more of those..

oh psychology, also a very hot course.. NUS?

haha... if they went there and made some friends, then alright, their determination paid off. but they only go to ogle at girls eh... you don't see girls going to other canteens just to see guys or sth. :p
lol. so what category do you belong to? but then again, you are already in biz sch, so u get to see pretty girls in your own canteen.
Originally posted by stellazio:oh psychology, also a very hot course.. NUS?
yup, hot... but that makes the course more competitive. nope. i study private.

i wouldn't know bout that, they sure certainly didn't come to make friends with me though, except when they want to take over my table..
aiyah, girls are aplenty, sometimes my classmates and i will walk all the way to the engineering block to eat, cause its less crowded, the food is cheaper and better too.. ironic huh?
well maybe you being a psychologist can try to explain that..
Originally posted by lenore:yup, hot... but that makes the course more competitive. nope. i study private.
yeah like me, i found it very hard to study for my exams in something that i had totally no interest in.. and the chances to enter local uni from our polys are just too pathetically low.. sad but true..sigh~

lol... maybe they wanna take a better look at you but use that as an excuse.
haha... kinda but ok la, cool. i also prefer the less crowded areas. it's silly to to wait so long for a space in that kinda environment. but sometimes my classmates wanna go to biz sch eat, i also no choice. one against so many. haha. and it is abit sian to hear them discuss so much about girls.
pay me. :)

true... i had to get my friends to help me so i can scrap by exams. :P
also true... like almost zilch. unless you are really those top scorers. so what's ur plan after ns?

i guess it has all to do with being humans, we're never contented and don't appreciate what we have.. they like to come oogle at ladies, while we rather escape from the ladies dominated environment..ahahah..
how much do you charge? i thought monetary terms would be an insult for your priceless service..:)

yeay,i was always burning the midnight oil the night before exams, and practically just studying the past year papers to scrape through.. terrible..
yeah, they should reserve more places for us, its unfair..plans after NS is to continue studying, where and what i haven't decided.. could even be going overseas for all i know.. join my many friends there as it seems to be the trend nowadays..ahahaha..

haha... the irony. seeing too much you guys also sian le i guess.
rightttt... witty way to turn things around. haha.

yes very terrible... haha... but those were the good ol days.
yeah, it's quite unfair. not all jc students would score well and yet they still get a place. jc students are better and we are not? haha... cool. go if you can... think it'll be fun... :) more courses to choose from too.

well wit is priceless and invaluable too.. never know when it comes in handy right?
precisely, put me in a jc and i can probably enter the uni to some lousier courses too, i never once thought they were better then us poly students, but thanks to the MOE, who they themselves all came from JC's, they never gave us a look in.. and instead rather offer our places to the FT..depressing place to be, and to think i have to give up 2 years of my life for it..

truw... wit makes communication all the more interesting and also turns situations around.
true... come to think of it, those who enter poly are at the losing end. then why enter poly? with FT, all the more competitive.
those who enter poly are not at the losing end. i beg to differ
hmmm, but lesser chance to go in uni eh?
hmmm, can elaborate ur view?

when u mean uni, which uni are referring to then?
4th uni, dumping ground for poly diploma
but actually i think that some poly students are even more smarter though.
