That's why we have the Asian BMI. The Asian BMI takes into the account of the smaller Asian frame. The International BMI is for the bigger frame Ang Mos.
To me, the BMI is just a guide, It is not the bible.... At a glance, you can tell if you are overweight, just nice or underweight. It does not tell you your state of health.
If you are Asian, and a couch potato, and weighing 90kg at 1.83m. Well, it is time to take the health screening. If all is well, it is still good to do a little exercise to take off that pouch.
But remember, a skinny person is not automatically healthy too....
