help! regarding region code

hey guys,
i have bought 2 "modified psp2006"
the sales man said that it was only modified to play games coded with 3 (region code 3)
which means not every pirated or downloaded games are suitable
but i couldnt find any games listed with code,
as they didnt list out the codes for gameS,
is there any way to get the downloaded games which are coded 3?
i hereby thank in advance to all kinda kind person who willing to solve my problem,

games are region free
it means that you can play any region umd game with your psp...
movies aren't region free...
that means if your psp is region code 3, your psp cannot run a movue umd on a psp with a region code 1 or 2...
but if your psp is on custom firmware then you should be able to switch into any region you want it to...

i oso tthink tat psp is region free..
but the sales man said that he helped me to modify..
so that i can play downloaded games with code 3..
im confused and wondering..
while if wan get every pirated games can be played, the price is higher..
but i couldnt find wat coded 3 games...
