Two English Crisis Core Final: Fantasy 7 videos now out

Those of you who've either played through Final Fantasy 7 are familiar with the fact that story pretty much started in the middle, with the backstory filled in as it the plot developed. But even if you haven't played the classic game or seen Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children, Square Enix is giving fans the story behind the story in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 - and has two videos to prove it.
The first video explains the reason why Zack Fair was sent to Wutai in the first place: Soldier First Class Genesis has gone rogue and Zack and co. have been asked to bring him in. Add Zack's hyperenthusiastic glomp to that and you've got the beginning of a story on your hands.
Square Enix's second video features another familiar face, but without the menace that's so often associated with him - yet. Sephiroth takes the time to talk to Zack about his parents, then suddenly catches himself and brings his team's focus back to the mission. -
The ending of crisis core shows Zack telling Cloud " take this sword, you're the proof that i lived" or sth along those lines.

yeah....finished the game already....just want to finish the english version so that i get to hear the characters talk in english.....
i really hope they do a remake of ff7 for the psp i dun mind even if they make it in 2 umds.........
ff7 is like my most favourite game in the world......the background song is really nostalgic.....

i dun have PSP. but someone fill me in i saw the ending video online, so Zack died near Midgar but what happened in between the anime ending and the ending of this version? In the anime ending, he asked Cloud to run. After that?

actually the shot missed zack
then he made his father stop the truck and let him leave......
he took cloud along side him then put him off aside....
then he had to take on wot seemed to be hundreds of soldiers.....in the end he lost.....
shinra left cloud alone thinking that he could not survive coz he was in bad shape....
the scene is actually availble in the ff7 game.....but ofcourse its the ff7 version lah.....crappy graphics and all

great, thanks for the info~ now i have to figure wtf was happening in the beginning, saw this video of the CGs in the game put together. but damn, Angael + Genesis vs Sephiroth looked nice.

I rmb the scene where Sephiroth attacked cloud when he was about to free jenova in some town i forgot.

cloud's home town... why didn't i get that graphics when i played FFVII long time ago?!?!?!? still haven't found a good reason to buy a PS3 yet

angeal was actually the first design of the main character for ff7 but nomura wanted someone that looks more appealing....

the most saddest moment of gaming histosy is when aerith died.....
i was like heart broken sia....coz when playing ff7 i was like really putting myself in cloud's shoes......
darn i can still remember how it felt like being marveled by the graphics of the game back then......so nostalgic.....i wished i could turn back time......

No leh, i wasn't so sad when Aerith died. Dunno why, but the ending of FF8 and FFX seems to touched me more especially the latter.

if you guys like hack and slash game, try getting Jedi Academy then dl the map for ff7 all
i used to do that then use the cloud strife skin and the sword, busting sephiroth all

yeah....i have to admit that when playing all the FF games, i was really like putting myself in their shoes or rather felt like i was in the game......i love FF.....the combination of songs all....gets me addicted sia.....but really the art they put in and the world they make is damn nice...can't wait for FF13 Vesus

Yep, i love the Orchestral music played in the FF series, even now i am watching their concert videos.
The character designs and storylines just gets you in love with em. And you wish it will never end, thats why its Final Fantasy.

nabei, wiki plot outline says nothing all i know is genesis disappeared with a bunch of SOLDIERs angeal, zack n sephiroth went to find him sephiroth hates shinra (we ALL know that) what happened in between???

They shouldn't have made it a FPS. FF games should be as it is, time/turn based. Heard FFXIII will be like kingdom hearts those kinda actions..sigh~

eh i dun really fancy the new fighting systems. i really like the turn based, time bar system. anyway, the game started to get too linear at final fantasy XII. so i stopped playing. i guess the best story to me is FFVII but i have a friend who loves FFIV

The cetra jenova is actually not a cetra but an alien.....the alien can take on any form actually.....most moster you kill were once cetras actually
The cetra jenova was named after jenova herself......
And sephiroth and vincent are actually brothers......
they found genesis somewhere i forgot shit i forgot some parts or cirsis core after playing the game

FF13 Vesus will be like KH
But for FF13 itself should be traditional.....
they all make these fps and action kind becoz extra extra one mah......it should be fun seeing a KH kinda game in darn good graphics too...who knows

I never knew Sephiroth and Vincent are brothers. I only know Vincent got sort of betrayed by his loved one called lucrecia or sth where he can go to her cave as a side quest in the original FFVII.
And that the mad scientist hojo was it? implanted the tingy into Vincent.
