A spokesman for Prince Charles has confirmed that he will not be attending a ten-year anniversary concert for his deceased ex-wife, Princess Diana.
The concert is being organized by Princess Diana's two sons William and Henry.
The July 1 concert takes place at London's new Wembly Stadium and features a diverse group of performers, including rappers Pharell Williams, Kanye West, Elton John, Lily Allen, Natasha Bedingfield, Rod Stewart and others.
"The concert is really for the younger generation to enjoy," a spokesman for Prince Charles said.
His second wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, will attend.
Prince Charles married Diana in 1981. Princess Diana was popular world wide, due to her various charitable works.
The couple separated in 1992 and officially divorced in 1996.
Princess Diana was killed in an Aug. 1997 car crash with her boyfriend Dodi Fayed and his chauffeur Henri Paul.
