Anna Nicole Smith may have been battling for her late husband's fortune when she was alive but she's having no problems generating big bucks in death. A German businessman just shelled out $512,000 for two of the Playboy centerfold's diaries. The confessionals were written between 1992 and 1994 and offer glimpses into Smith's thoughts on sex, Howard Marshall, infidelities, vacations, her mother, and various lovers.
One of the diaries had a purple cover and the quote "I follow my own star" on the cover. The first page has her legal name, Vickie Smith, on it, followed by the warning, "Do Not Read!"
The diary purchaser is a "big fan" of Smith, and wishes to remain anonymous, according to TMZ.
Smith died February 8th. A joint news conference announcing the results of her autopsy is being held Monday morning (March 26th) in Florida.
