Elton John has made his entire back catalogue of music available to download digitally for the first time, to celebrate his 60th birthday on March 25.
The singer has given permission for tracks from more than 30 albums to be made released as digital downloads, coinciding with the launch of his new album 'Rocket Man - The Definitive Hits,' a compilation of 18 tracks.
He says, "I've wanted my music to be available for digital download worldwide for some time, but I knew the entire catalogue - not just the hits - needed care and attention to be released in this way.
"Now that it's happening, I'm pleased for the fans' sake. The world has certainly changed since Philips Records issued my first single on seven-inch vinyl - 39 years ago this month."
Elton's back catalogue will be available from March 26-April 30.
