Daniel Craig and Julianne Moore are in negotiations to star in the drama, Blindness for Focus Features International.
Directed by Fernando Meirelles and written by Don McKellar; the film is based on the novel by Nobel Prize winner Jose Saramago. The Hollywood Reporter says the story chronicles an epidemic of blindness that sweeps through an unnamed contemporary city and pushes society to the brink of breakdown.
