MIDFIELDERS: Theo Walcott, Stewart Downing, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Steven Gerrard, Gareth Barry, Frank Lampard, Scott Parker, Ashley Young, James Milner.

England squad and numbers for Euro 2012:

In January 2011, Roy Hodgson was dismissed in shame as Liverpool manager and King Kenny returned.
Fast-forward 16 months and the King was dethroned after a disappointing Premier League campaign as Hodgson was announcing the England squad for Euro 2012.
Dalglish's second coming was initially a success, guiding the Reds to sixth place, after they had languished in the bottom half under the current Three Lions coach, and signing Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez, at the time, two of the most hyped strikers in Europe.
Hodgson did not wait long to make his way back into management, appearing at West Brom just over a month later tasked with arresting an alarming slide down the table that had seen Roberto Di Matteo sacked at the Hawthorns.
Hodgson succeeded, lifting the Baggies to a record 11th place by the end of the season, then going on to better it this campaign, finishing 10th, a first top-half Premier League finish securing an unprecedented third-consecutive term in England's top tier for the west Midlands side.
This season has also been record-breaking at Anfield, but for all the wrong reasons.
Crippled by an appalling home return of six league wins all season and a desperate lack of luck in front of goal (no team struck the woodwork more than Liverpool during 2011-12), Dalglish saw his top-four contenders slump to eighth in the table, below Everton for the first time in seven years and with a worst points total for almost six decades.
The Reds' signings failed to inspire, Stewart Downing could not score or create, Jordan Henderson was unsure of his role and Charlie Adam could not replicate his Blackpool variety act of goals and assists.
"Downing could not score or create, Henderson was unsure of his role and Adam could not replicate his Blackpool variety act of goals and assists."

West Brom swept to victory in Hodgson's return to Anfield thanks to Peter Odemwingie's strike, to give him what turned out to be his last win at the club.
After that match Hodgson insisted that he took no extra pleasure from beating his former employers, but even one of the most affable of bosses might have smiled wryly as Dalglish left Melwood on Wednesday and thought how lucky he had been to get out when he did.
Thanks to his Anfield failure, the Three Lions boss has a solid reputation for success in limited surroundings, perfect then, perhaps, for the promising but often crushing environs of the England job.
I foresee England will crash and burn in the group stages.
The Terry - Downing - Carroll combo will make sure they crash and burn.
Downing and Carroll in the squad.......................
Hodgson will be betting against England in every match................
i advise you guys to do likewise................
Don't be surprise Downing suddenly play like his Villa days... zipping up and down the wing with goals and assist here and there...
And Carroll turn up with his Newcastle form...
All Pool fans suddenly rub their eyes and go wtf! Where have they been all season...
.

Then after their relatively successful showing at the Euros... They return next season as the same dude we have come to get used to and seen through out the months...

I seriously doubt that.
I reckon at best, England will draw all their group games.
At the very best.

JT is a liability.
He has been slipping and falling in crucial games.
He slipped in the champions league final against Man U.
He slipped against Arsenal in the 3-5 defeat.
He slipped against Liverpool in the 1-4 defeat.
He has slipped against all the top teams.
good.....................velly good...................
bad news for England....................
is good news for me.........................
Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea failed to make the cut despite being included in a provisional squad.
Barcelona forward Pedro has been rewarded for his two goals in the Copa del Rey final on Friday with a place while Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo edged out Roberto Soldado in the battle to replace injured record scorer David Villa.
Former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas makes the defending champions' squad despite being ruled out for just over a week with a hamstring strain.
Spain squad:

Faith: Fernando Torres, who joined Chelsea in January 2011, claimed Roman Abramovich's trust convinced him to stay at the Blues
Fernando Torres has revealed the faith shown in him by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich helped persuade him to carry on at Stamford Bridge.
The striker, who was named in Vicente Del Bosque's Spain squad for Euro 2012 on Sunday, had shocked the Blues with an outburst following the triumphant Champions League final, attacking his treatment by the club and threatening to quit west London this summer.
However, four days ago the 28-year-old backtracked, insisting he had simply wanted to play more last season when his 'mind was like a rollercoaster' and that he was happy at Chelsea.
He revealed that Abramovich's trust convinced him to stay.
All smiles: Torres (left) is part of the Spain squad for Euro 2012
Point the finger: Torres (left) jokes with Chelsea team-mate Juan Mata
Torres told reporters at a press conference: 'I had a conversation with the owner of Chelsea and he trusts me.
'His confidence is total and that is what I needed to keep fighting and continue to be essential for the team.'
The former Liverpool striker also defended his selection for the Spain team who will go to Poland and Ukraine as defending champions and favourites.
For the fans: Torres and Sergio Ramos sign autographs for Spanish supporters
Red alert: Torres bonded in the Spanish training session for Euro 2012 with ex-Liverpool team-mates Pepe Reina (left) and Xabi Alonso
Given David Villa was unable to recover from injury in time for consideration, it would have been a shock if Torres had not been called up.
Torres continued: 'I can't stop the debate. I think all of us are here on merit.
'I come with the FA Cup and the Champions League. I think the end of the season was not bad.'
He did, though, rue the absence of defender Carles Puyol, also missing next month's tournament with injury.
'Puyol is a leader on and off the field. He always had something to say to the dressing room and had a lot of experience.
'(Missing) Villa also is a very important low. We will try to make his absence noticed as little as possible."
Bonucci is expected to face questioning as part of a probe carried out by Cremona prosecutors with regards to his time as a Bari player in the 2009-10 campaign.
He is not under any formal investigation at this stage and has denied any wrongdoing.
Italy omitted Zenit St Petersburg defender Domenico Criscito from the squad yesterday after he was quizzed by police as part of the same investigation.
Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia and Siena striker Mattia Destro were also left out today by Italy coach Cesare Prandelli as he trimmed his squad to 23 names.
But veteran Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale, 34, survived the cull.
Di Natale, the top Italian scorer in Serie A in the recently-completed season, has not played under Prandelli and is one of five strikers that Italy will take to the tournament to be played in Poland and Ukraine.
AC Milan striker Antonio Cassano has also made Prandelli’s roster after coming back from minor heart surgery. Cassano was Italy’s top scorer in qualifying with six goals.
Recently-crowned Premier League winner Mario Balotelli of Manchester City is in the group.
The Azzurri meet Luxembourg in a friendly in Parma tonight and then take on Russia in Zurich on Friday.
At Euro 2012, Italy open against defending European and world champions Spain on June 10 and will also face Croatia and Republic of Ireland in Group C.
Italy squad: Buffon (Juventus), De Sanctis (Napoli), Sirigu (Paris St Germain); Abate (AC Milan), Balzaretti (Palermo), Barzagli (Juventus), Bonucci (Juventus), Chiellini (Juventus), Maggio (Napoli), Ogbonna (Torino); De Rossi (Roma), Diamanti (Bologna), Giaccherini (Juventus), Marchisio (Juventus), Montolivo (Fiorentina), Motta (Paris St Germain), Nocerino (AC Milan), Pirlo (Juventus); Balotelli (Manchester City), Borini (Roma), Cassano (Milan), Di Natale (Udinese), Giovinco (Parma).
Injuries to Chelsea star and Barry and concerns over Parker and Gerrard leave Hodgson sweating on his midfield days before finals
Frank Lampard is facing Euro 2012 heartbreak - and Roy Hodgson has been plunged into a full-scale midfield injury crisis.
Chelsea veteran Lampard will undergo a scan after suffering a calf muscle injury in training on Wednesday.
Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has been put on standby because the medical check-up is expected to rule out Lampard - and could spell the end of the 33 year-old's England career.
UEFA will send a doctor to check on Lampard, and England boss Hodgson will be able to call up Henderson because the scan is expected to show it is a new injury, which will allow the FA to change their 23-man squad at this stage.
Lampard has won 90 caps for England and was pushing for a starting place in Hodgson's line-up, especially after Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry was this week ruled out with a stomach injury.
Hodgson opted to replace Barry with a defender, Everton's Phil Jagielka, and that now leaves England woefully short in midfield.
It's a position where Scott Parker has been using injections to speed up and ease his recovery after an Achilles injury and Steven Gerrard, Hodgson's choice as captain, must be a concern having been plagued by fitness problems all season.
Henderson has had a difficult first season at Liverpool, but could find himself thrust in to try to solve England's midfield issues.
Manchester United's Michael Carrick decided to call time on his England career earlier this season after becoming fed up of not getting enough chances.
There is no way back for him even if he wanted to make a U-turn, as he is currently undergoing treatment on an Achilles problem.
Next man up: Jones is first reserve after knocks to Barry and Lampard
Fairway to heaven? Gerrard will have to win the Euros without Lampard
The versatile Phil Jones is the other back-up, while James Milner could also play inside, but it all leaves Hodgson woefully short of options for the tournament.
Ironically, England's players had only a light training session on Wednesday morning before being allowed the afternoon to play golf.
But it was enough to crock Lampard, who was kept out for weeks earlier in the season with a similar problem.
The FA fear that Thursday will spell the end of his Euros hopes.
The Chelsea midfielder may also feel, at 33, that Hodgson may look to the future in the autumn as the qualifiers for the next World Cup begin.

UEFA bigwig Michel Platini has condemned England as Euro 2012 also-rans.
The UEFA president also rates Holland worth a shout with Denmark, Portugal, Italy and France as good outside bets.
Platini, 56, said: “I think that the absence of Wayne Rooney for the first two games is much more of a handicap than the departure of Fabio Capello.
“We, the organisers, have to be neutral. But it is a competition. May the best team win.”
I don't think many are saying they are good enough this time around. If any thing, most think they will fail to get pass the first stage or if lucky, make the second stage at best... lol.
Martin Kelly, fucking kidding me.....
