Funny videos of footballers blazing over the bar from point-blank range are all well and good, but as often as not it's a lower-league player, or an out-of-position defender, who is at fault.
Shakhtar Donetsk's Brazilian superstar Luiz Adriano has no such excuse for this astonishing blunder. The 24-year-old was served up a perfect pass that presented him with an open goal from inside the six-yard box in the 33rd minute of the Ukrainian Premier League clash against struggling Illichivets:
The reactions of the striker, his team-mates and the men on the bench say it all: that, my friend, was an absolute shocker.
Shakhtar were leading 1-0 at the time and went on to win the game 2-1, with Adriano's team-mates Willian and Tomas Hubschman making up for his wastefulness.

this is the worst coz he didnt miss it. his team mate in fact could have scored if he didnt touch it. he 'defended' well for the rival team.
I see it 4-5 times and I don't think it will go in without being touched. But, it's a funny miss.
I play soccer and to be honest, sometimes the ball come to you at a fast speed or sometimes just plainly suay (uneven bounce, wrong positioning, 1 leg step on stone creating a wrong posture, see wrongly) and you miskick... it just happen that these miskicks happen on a very good goalscoring chance that's why it looks so bad... i mean if it happens in center of midfield or non-danger area, it probably wouldn't matter so much.
