Showdown: Merseyside derby will take place on a Tuesday night
Everton face three tough games in seven days after the Merseyside derby was rearranged for Tuesday, March 13.
Liverpool's involvement in Sunday's Carling Cup final meant the Anfield clash had to be postponed from last weekend.
Everton must now tackle the Merseyside derby 72 hours after a home league game against high-flying Tottenham and then take on Sunderland in a FA Cup quarter-final tie the following Saturday.
The Merseyside clash falls just one day short of David Moyes' 10th anniversary in charge at Goodison Park.
The Toffees' recovery time has also been reduced by all three games being shown live on TV. The Tottenham game is scheduled to kick-off at 5.30pm and the Sunderland clash kicks off at 12.45pm.
Liverpool face three games in eight days.
Kenny Dalglish's side travel to Sunderland in the Barclays Premier League on March 10 before facing Everton three days later and Stoke in the FA Cup quarter finals on Sunday, March 18.
