After being defiant for so long, why the apology now? From Kenny and Suarez? What's a handshake before games anyway? A show, right? Why must suarez shake? He is paid to score/football, okay, (maybe sometimes, block balls off the goal post with his hands, or bite the opponents).. i's all in the contact.
To repair reputation?To get into the good books of FA? To stem hatred towards Suarez or LFC? The US owners' morals or etc?
Irregardless, YNWA fans will support their club to the death, so who cares about the outside world. They are happy in their own well.

Let me provide a thought experiment... Let's say we have two countries coming close to war, basically very high tensions... and here we have the presidents of the 2 countries coming together... their actions have implications to what happened next... if they choose to make peace, then tensions reduced/save lives... if they choose to go to war, then tensions increased/people lose their lives...Now, does it matter whether they personally like or don't like to go for peace? If it's for the greater benefit beyond that 1 individual, then it matters. If it's a selfish individual who only cares about himself, then it doesn't matter. Selfish individual mentality is like North Korea Kim where his life is good but he never care about the suffering North Koreans.
So whether it's geniune or pretend to shake hands, as long as he did it, it reduced tensions and close the issue. It's beneficial to both sets of fans and players whether to geniunely or pretend to do it, but that 1 individual only thinks of himself.

No matter what's been said or done..Suarez should have shaken Evra's hand. He had a choice not to though but it's an irresponsible act considering what it could lead to...

Dude..i lived in a country with a constant discrimination, on daily basis...for 17 years and know what it is like to be discriminated..what i was trying to say is if u look at evra's track record..he has accused so many people in the past and all of them wasn't proved guilty, until suarez..why??
