seems like the manager is going to get the sack soon, probably in January. chelsea is in danger of not qualify for CL next season, never mind the title.

i think the only safe team is Man city
Man U, Tottenham,Arsenal,Liverpool,Chelsea,Newcastle
is all fighting for 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th -
chelsea, even under mourinho, cant match city's beautiful play.
but at least they were defensively strong. but the current chelsea are neither.

It was a lapse of concentration that led to Liverpool second goal.
They will meet again in two weeks times.
So, it will be a true test for Liverpool if they win again.
Kenny must have read the forum after the last match that he decided to field Maxi and Bellamy that led to the 1st goal.
It is a surprise victory for Liverpool.
The whole team did well for the win.
It will be a harder deal against Man City.

This terry was slow and fumbling all night. Hope he doesn't make it into the Euro squad come June. Overrated bunch of english blokes, just like Carroll. At least Henderson showed flashes of brilliance darting down the wing when he came on. He's like a raw unpolished diamond.

Actually, Liverpool won because Kenny did not start with the lazy millionaires.
If Henderson, Downing and Carroll have started, Liverpool would have scored zero goal.
Carroll did not even managed to hold on possession on the ball when he come on.
At the moment, Henderson and Downing can only played as substitutes.
As for Carroll, I also dunno where to put him.
He is not good enough and not hardworking.

Me thinks he will stay. Roman can see the kind of stablity that long term managers offer. He can look no further than the 2 clubs of manchester, including city because mancini did not achieve instant results with all those billions.
There is definitely something special about AVB. He is only in the 3rd year of his management career but he has already won one league title and the uefa cup. And he only dropped six points the entire season he was in the portugese league.

This is just a freak result.
Chelsea was attacking like crazy before the 2nd Liverpool goal.
Honestly, as a Liverpool fan, I am expecting a 3 - 0 scoreline after the lousy draw.
Whether Chelsea will change manager depend on Roman, Chelsea need to buy some more players in Jan.
But, if Chelsea is kicked out of Champion League, then AVB will be in trouble.

If Kenny deployed Maxi and Bellamy till xmas, he can keep his job for this season.
At least they can clicked with Luis in the positioning and footballing sense.
But, if he put his UK pets in, then he can go for early retirement.
Cos Luis will always be the one man show upfront.
If his UK pets cannot even handle teams,with smaller budget, they can carry on being substitutes.

You are absolutely right.
If all the English players had played, Liverpool would have lost the game.
The only part Carroll played in the game was wasting 1 minute of regulation time when he stepped onto the field.

Man City have champion league this week and carling cup next week.
Liverpool have no champion league this week and carling cup next week.
So, Man City will have a fixture congestion and may not be able to recover in time for the anfield match.
Liverpool may reserved strength for the coming Chelsea Part 2 match.
Therefore, it may be a draw in the writing.

I hope liverpool do the rest of the premier league a favour, beat or at least drawn them at anfield. if city can win at anfield, it can do so at stamford bridge too.

Playing against Chelsea , upfront , we need some fluency in the attack . South American style .
Those one touch movement .
Carroll , Downing , Henderson are not really that type .
Maxi , Bellamy and Suarez are those .
But then hor , our defense and midfields , must be those British type until we hit that half way line .

He was banging in the goal towards the end of last season.
To be honest, the last few matches when the UK pets are playing are simply not up to standard and painful to watch No. 7 struggling alone up front with No. 9 not being potent.
The team that Kenny deployed on sunday is the strongest line-up that Liverpool can come up with.
Jamie and Stevie are beginning to show sign of decline.
So, Kenny may have to get another striker in Jan.
I am not sure carroll can deliver for Liverpool any sooner.

Brazil seemed to have lost their samba way. look at their last 2-3 coaches, who focused on european style of play. they should focus on their samba style again.
as for the english game, playing long balls to the strikers for them to chase, free kick and corners nice to watch? is the english style good football to you? its boring and uninventive, not to mention lack of technical skills. sucks man the english style.
